I wish I could meet her. I probably have a high chance considering we may be going to Seattle this summer to see family. I've never met her before, yet she's my fourth cousin (Eeek! I freaked out when I found out!). I have so much family on that side it's not even funny, so it's not a surprise we've never met. I wish I could sing like her, I really do. I do play the guitar, drums, and piano(kinda) and I sing, but I'm nothing compared to her. She's my 2nd fav vocalist.

I'm a 55 year old woman who saw Brandi this summer with our Indianapolis symphony---it was incredible. I knew about her because of my 19 year old daughter. I agree that she is perhaps the most talented singer/songwriter of today. Love her contralto voice, especially when it cracks...

I am a 72 year old who never even heard of Brandi until she came to Northampton, Ma. a few weeks ago. Now I can't get enough of her. This song is truly amazing....just blisten carefully to the words. BEAUTIFUL. was happy to see the album hit 26 in its debut. She should be No. 1.....Don't get tangled in the past.........All the songs are great but this one could be the real sleeper. Did she write it. I hope she rests when this tour ends this weekend......I'll just keep listening. Tks Brandi.

The album credits show that Brandi did write this song. I also like the string arrangement, even though my favourite songs of hers are the simpler 'unplugged' ones.

There is also a lovely cheeky film of Brandi singing with her mother the song, "Your good girl is gonna go bad" which you might like.

Her duet with her sister Tiffany on "Calling All Angels" might have you reaching for the tissues, such is the beauty of their harmony.
