  • This is clever

  • Well once again today this song had came into my head after not hearing it played in over 25+ years, and once again did a google search with the few words I have remembered of it, and I found this in my search! AWESOME!

Only heard it played a few times on WSOU, a local college radio station here in NJ, back in the very early 80's...now I have the "sound" once again, besides my memory of it! :)

TY for posting this vid..made my day!

  • he walks out there just like jonny rotten in PIL

  • awesome I've loved them since the mid-eighties its sad to think that time is just gone, and its never coming back.

  • looking back.......flipper and pil had a spawned a kind of scene of their own.

  • all i remmebr is seeing them live in a frat house 1985 and the bass player was a bulky cleancut dude who was very serious about soundchecking his bass...........to the point of ocd.

  • One look at this vid tells you a lot about this band. They mocked and sneered at you, all the while being tremendously entertaining. One of my all-time favorites and certainly most underrated and unknown groups ever. Damn I'm so mad now that I sold all of my NT vinyl to a used record store....nevermind that I don't have a turntable anymore. Thanks jackhug for the upload!

  • what a cool ass band

  • finally, indeed

  • After all these years I FINALLY get to see some footage of No Trend.!!!

IMHO one of the most underestimated bands ever.

It's these kinda uploads why I am still around here on YT

    KUDOS & THX VERY MUCH!

  • I see, he don't play on drums, lol.

    @sweetlegplaster

I think he play on "Sterling by MUSIC MAN" or "Danelectro"

  • Wonderfull. no conhecia this is band. very good!! I'm Brazilian guy. Aqui penso eu que poucos conhecem este som. AloHa muchachos!

  • No words to express my joy for this vid! Now I am going to play "Hanging out in Georgetown" – or should I better say "The man who gave birth" ;) at maximum volume in an endless loop all night long.

    Endless love from S-pain,

    Edu

    NO TREND

    NO SCENE

    NO MOVEMENT

  • OK, I've watched this about 10 times in 24 hours. Video is hilarious, you're all so adorable, this makes me really happy.

  • You guys are seriously one of my all time favorite bands ever.

  • What kind of guitar is Frank playing? The guy has a sound of his own and it is all sorts of fantastic. Great influence on the way I try to handle my guitar from time to time. Thanks for this video, sir. First footage I've ever seen of them.

  • great vid but it s not the original sound !!

  • @ktofotk

Actually this recording was originally released on 7" vinyl. It was later rerecorded with a different line-up and released as a 12". That is probably the version you're familiar with.

  • @jackhug

hi J. this vid is really really cool

i just say its not the live sound of the video but yes the 7" vinyl version ( the best )

  • Nothing short of genius.
