Furthermore I tend to watch the behavior of the peoples that follow a religion in order to understand their beliefs.. the books and texts they follow are secondary as they explain the behavior.

I find it interesting that some muslims say the Yemeni quran just has textual variations from the popular one used. Like that makes it not a big difference. If it isn't different, but just textual variations, than make copies of it. Make millions of copies of it and pass it out to all the muslims. If there is no threat and fear from it, make millions and millions of copies of it and send it to all the muslims to replace the current one. Because it is only textual difference.

I can say from experience that my study has vastly improved my appreciation and understanding of the Qur’an, and I would urge anybody who sincerely seeks to prove its authenticity to him or herself to take up the study of Arabic. For me, the difference between the original language and the translated meanings is like day and night.

How about you show us the examples where the different copies conflict ? ^_^ we will have a look at them, a mastery of arabic and islamic studies is key, unlike the bible it can only be recited in arabic even for non arabs a key ingredient to its preservation. @semo2010 Why do you need even other copies or versions to be examined that were burnt by Uthman. Look at the current Quran itself it still has contradictions and there is no absolute morality at all in them. It has the SATANIC VERSES to resolve the contradictions we need Al-Nasikh.

You don't scrutinize fundamental principles, it defeats the purpose of faith. However, there are quite a few Muslim scholars and Muslims who are willing to listen and negotiate in a constructive debate to defend their arguments. Whether the Koran is authentic or not is quite an objective issue. Let me know if you find anything serious.

plz read the history . there were different dialects of arabic even thought the meaning was same. so these two codes were different dialects but than Uthman was the same dialect that Prophet Muhammad (P.B..U.H) SPOKE AND THE SAME HOLY QURAN WHICH WAS THE SAME DIALECT WITH HAFSAH RA WHICH WAS DONE IMIDIATLY AFTER THE PROPHET (P.B.U.H) PASSED AWAY
That is immaterial as Muhammad taught these people directly such as Ibn Masud and Ibn Kab. The Hadith shows that Muhammad permits variant recital of the verses and he never commanded his followers to write the Quran into a Book as he knew it was not God's command.
When the verses were revealed they were written down on his command cause he does not speak on his own will. But is a inspiration from God. (53:3-4) Now is KSA they say Mayay for water however in other countries they say maa. similarly for the people to understand they allowed different dialects while the correct dialect was with Hafsah RA so similarly when Uthman RA final copy was made most of the other dialects were burnt so that the same Quran in the Prophets SAW dialect was kept.
@positron66 that is completely false, the Koran was written completely during the life of the prophet, it was not arranged in his life but it certainly was written. The prophet PBUH made a point not to write the Hadith so not to confuse it with the direct word of God. unlike the bible where it was first written decades "at best" after the death of jesus. Something important to remember here is that the Koran as well being written is thoroughly memorised.

Quranic verses written on palm leaves stalks, bones, parchments were re-arranged and re-written to make some sense out of it but the contextual meaning is lost forever. Surah 10:94 if it starts with a new chapter or simply continue Surah 10:93 differs much in its meaning. If our interpretation is correct, Muhammad was told to ASK the People of the Book when he was in doubt about the meaning of the revelations. By placing Surah 10:94 it sounds out of context.

Besides, Aisha ra narration in Sahih Bukhari Hadith #515 said she had her own copy of Qur'an, and she said it doesn't matter how you put the Qur'an in order as long as the meaning of the verses and the central meaning of the Qur'an doesn't change.

i said Koran was Revealed at first it wasn't on papers or tablets but it was revealed at Prophet Muhammad PBUH and he tought it to the people who believed then they kept it and later in the time of Othman it was written and gathered and any doughbtful verses were discarded and burnt.
Koran has 1 VERSION it's not like bible in billion VERSIONS with new EDITIONS year after year

I can say from experience that my study has vastly improved my appreciation and understanding of the Qur’an, and I would urge anybody who sincerely seeks to prove its authenticity to him or herself to take up the study of Arabic. For me, the difference between the original language and the translated meanings is like day and night.

How about you show us the examples where the different copies conflict ? ^_^ we will have a look at them, a mastery of arabic and islamic studies is key, unlike the bible it can only be recited in arabic even for non arabs a key ingredient to its preservation. Also, I love how the Koran is finally under surgical testing from atheists, this is excellent, it will only reveal the proof of antiquity from an atheist mouth.

@semo2010 Why do you need even other copies or versions to be examined that were burnt by Uthman. Look at the current Quran itself it still has contradictions and there is no absolute morality at all in them. It has the SATANIC VERSES to resolve the contradictions we need Al-Nasikh.

@daNDayati However, there is nothing stopping anyone from scrutinizing the Koran all the want. And obviously Muslims don't like scrutinizing their principles. You don't scrutinize fundamental principles, it defeats the purpose of faith. However, there are quite a few Muslim scholars and Muslims who are willing to listen and negotiate in a constructive debate to defend their arguments. Whether the Koran is authentic or not is quite an objective issue. Let me know if you find anything serious.

That is immaterial as Muhammad taught these people directly such as Ibn Masud and Ibn Kab. The Hadith shows that Muhammad permits variant recital of the verses and he never commanded his followers to write the Quran into a Book as he knew it was not God's command.

When the verses were revealed they were written down on his command cause he does not speak on his own will. But is a inspiration from God. (53:3-4) Now is KSA they say Mayay for water however in other countries they say maa. similarly for the people to understand they allowed different dialects while the correct dialect was with Hafsah RA so similarly when Uthman RA final copy was made most of the other dialects were burnt so that the same Quran in the Prophets SAW dialect was kept.

@positron66 that is completely false, the Koran was written completely during the life of the prophet, it was not arranged in his life but it certainly was written. The prophet PBUH made a point not to write the Hadith so not to confuse it with the direct word of God. unlike the bible where it was first written decades "at best" after the death of jesus. Something important to remember here is that the Koran as well being written is thoroughly memorised.

Quranic verses written on palm leaves stalks, bones, parchments were re-arranged and re-written to make some sense out of it but the contextual meaning is lost forever. Surah 10:94 if it starts with a new chapter or simply continue Surah 10:93 differs much in its meaning. If our interpretation is correct, Muhammad was told to ASK the People of the Book when he was in doubt about the meaning of the revelations. By placing Surah 10:94 it sounds out of context.
