  • When we did this we had only performed this song. A year later they took the whole movie to the stage and it was WONDERFUL, but I don't have the video of that.

  • Thats too bad, you guys were Amazing. Most un-movie Newsie performances I dont like, but then i saw this one and was like, "Hey, this is okay...wait, this is great!" Awe, i wish u had a video of the whole play, but I'll take ur word for it. thanks for a great video!

  • Hey just because it is on stage and doesn't have electric guitars means it's lame this is the music of people who actually put tons of different things into it not just drumming and guitar chords. These kids put choreography,voice and most of all talent!!!!!

  • this is amazing! i know all the dances from the movie, but not many kids in my school like this movie, so we'd never be able to preform it for a show - although i would love to...i like the way you made it true to the movie yet changed the dances - also the voices were great - overall incredible job!

    What kind of floor does that stage have? My school's auditorium's got one that absorbs sound, so there's not so much bangin' around from the dancing. It may just have been in the video that it overrode your singing in places, though.

  • not here. but the kids who did the whole show the following year (this past may) would end up doing harmonies... which is expected since they're doing the WHOLE thing.
