  • zastava m76??

  • that aint no ak47 that is a dragonouv svd

  • Hey: ) just gotta say i really like your rifle!

it's a nice twist with the 5,56x45/ .223 round in an ak platform.

and to all that says that is a .22? well i shoot probally about 2-3 thousand rounds of .22LR a year and just by looking at the recoil and muzzle climb it's easy to see that that is NOT a .22 but clearly a .223 and i just got to ask you one thing, how heavy that rifle is fully loaded? (sorry if my English is a bit off i'm from Norway) Cheers !

  • The mag is so small I bet it's ca legal

  • @kareem275 - sure would be - it's a 7 rounder :)

  • @andycranch we cant do anything here, but go to Texas and its on!

  • Hmmm, I only see .22 casings on that bench... But off the topic, it's common, at least in California, to see Saigas chambered in .223 with a hunting stock to get around the ban.

  • @suddenlyill - that is due to the ejected casings flying approx. 6 feet away...... you don't think they drop out of the chamber do you? Or have you not had that much shooting experience perhaps???

  • @andycranch Well I see that I've hurt your ego, so apologies for that. But I don't know what's to the right of the lane. At our local range, we use a large piece of cardboard to stop ejected arounds from hitting the shooter next to us, and the dark shadow to your right suggests a similar practice.

  • @suddenlyill - not at all - it's just that every other comment on this video seems to be one of disbelief that this is a .223 AK variant. I do not post fake videos. We had been shooting many different calibres on that day so yes - those are .22 cases you can see. The range was in the bush so no need for deflection panels. Dark shadow to the right is the corner post of the shelter. Cheers.

  • @suddenlyill I've never seen a .22 with that kind of recoil

  • @socalfrijolito Well, if you've ever shot a gun before you'll notice there isn't much recoil in this video.

  • @suddenlyill I've actually been shooting guns since the age of four. The recoil on the weapon is way too much for a .22 I would be willing to bet that this is in fact a .223 Oh and if you'd like you can check my channel and see me shooting my AK-47.

  • @suddenlyill it looks like 22long rifle and not ,223...

  • that's odd. never seen a .223 ak.

  • now you need sub sonic ammo then you got a real silent .223 ak

  • still kind of loud

  • @OORah4life - the report is equal to a .22 magnum I think - which is way quieter than a .223.

  • was that firing a 7.62?

  • @ithpally - no .223 as in the title of this video.

  • what is the average price for an AK? i play call of duty but i am actually interested in guns because ive been shooting them before i played. i mention that in case you look at my channel lol

  • @chunxmkgee They're made by loadsamanufacturers, so the price varies. However, the one in this vid is a Norinco. You'd be better off buying a Saiga .223, which is based off of the Kalashinov platform and much better.

  • @chunxmkgee - depends where you buy them. Here in New Zealand they run around $900 US

  • It looks like a WASR .22. Only judging by the barrel profile and the sportster stock. But the Norinco is the only AK variant I've seen with the shiny bolt carrier/cocking lever. Plus the furniture is to varnished to be a WASR original. Gona have to agree that its a Norinco and a nice one at that. Those are some of the best AK's on the market but for the love of god get some better furniture. I hate seeing sportster stocks on preban guns

  • Subsonic .223... you might as well be shooting .22s if your going to shoot subsonic convert the receiver to pistol caliber ammo at least there you retain some stopping power.

  • I don't know much about guns, but does anyone notice no shells ejecting?

    :?

  • ノリンコ・・・支那製か

  • is this for killing ants?

  • @SovietUnity - certainly I suppose you could theoretically kill ants..... however I prefer to use this rifle on deer and wild pigs - accurate out to 300+ metres. At least you can eat deer and pigs.

  • @andycranch you can eat ants too

  • @bobdylan4evr - true true....have you seen Man V Wild? He chows down on termites.....

  • @bobdylan4evr not after you shoot them with a 223

  • @Duckyistrippin Ah damn. You ninja'd me.

  • @Razzy123 ;)

  • @bobdylan4evr Not if you shoot them with an AK. lol

  • @SovietUnity Your country made it, so you should know..

  • @SovietUnity fuck yes dude i kill ants with one of those every day thats all its good for

  • i like it but has bad recoil

  • To all ignorant non-gun owners out there... they make .223 AKs.

  • @SgtArmyGuy666 - CORRECT! If only certain other people would do their research I wouldn't have to constantly assure them that there are in fact .223 cal AK's. Cheers for the comment :)

  • Examples incluse the WASR-3 and the SLR106, as well as custom made. I can have a .22LR AK-47 if I really wanted to...

  • @andycranch are u sure they arent aka's converted to take .223....because last time i checked ak's only came in 7.62x39 and dragunovs come in 7.62x54 or 54r.....just cus it looks like an ak doesnt mean it is an actual aka....

  • @hifeyracer - yes I am sure as I bought it new in the grease from a shipment from Norinco China. Do some more research.

  • Check out the mag size - I don't have to prove anything as I own the rifle and don't give a shit about people like you that think otherwise..... it's a .223 - case closed.

  • to the maker of the film. make a video response and show yourself loading the mag and firing. i dont believe thats a 223........ prove to us.......

  • Well I am glad you worked it all out for yourself - I don't post "fake" videos - the reason I suppress all my weapons is to get the noise right down to - you guessed it - a .22 . And I have custom subsonic .223 rounds for this weapon also - just need to get around to uploading a video - and it is extremely quiet - similar to a suppressede .22 rifle (see my other vid). Cheers.

  • oops my bad, never heard the 84s lol might be real afterall, still looks and sounds like a 22

  • plus the barell is skinnier than a real one, i have a norinco mak-90 thast what norincos version of the ak is called....

  • now that i watched it again those look like fuckin .22 cartridges, fake!!!!!

  • Nice mag i'm gonna guess ten to twenty rounds?

  • in pakistan u can get a ak47 fully auto for cheapest 75pound

  • @scarface7575 Can you ship me one to Canada please :)

  • @RocketNothing - Hi - yes no problem - let me know your details and I can get the paperwork done this end - it's up to you to sort out your Government your end though... :-)

  • did anyone see AK 101 with .50 caliber?..

  • @SgtGizmo23 - Hi - sorry - am I a silencer noob? I don't follow you.....

  • @andycranch Its call of duty

  • @andycranch Gamer talk he thinks it's funny

  • @andycranch I think he's making a reference to "Call of Duty"

Because as we all know, if you see something in CoD then it must be true (sarcasm)

  • @andycranch its a game reference, modern warfare

  • @shitfacedcockmaster8 - thanks I'm getting the drift now :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @andycranch "stopping power" is in some fag video game he plays.

Have you found any cheap ($3-6 /20) that your .223 likes? mine isnt liking wolf black box or wolf military classic. Iam going to give "golden tiger" a shot next time i hit the range.

  • @urbloodygutsonmytux - I find the standard Norinco FMJ works very well> I will be uploading another video soon with the same rifle using custom loaded subsonic rounds so stay tuned....

  • @andycranch dont worry if you dont follow he's just a Call Of duty nerd that plays to much games and thinks virtual reality is the real thing. I suppose hes that much of a retard he probably think's if your in war then you re spawn when you die

  • @andycranch hes making a referance to a video game, anyways nice video

  • @SgtGizmo23 LMFAO!!!!! XD ninja pro ftw!!

  • @SgtGizmo23 you are a fag. everyone who has read your comment is now a little more like a faggot just because you said that

  • I personally like the .223/5.56x45mm That's the reason I bough my Saiga. And hey it's also made in the Izhmash factory so it's a real AK too.

  • that is a mak 90 not a ak i have a mak the same kind

  • @codster46 - no it is not a Mak 90 - that is a weapon made for the USA market - this is stamped "Norinco 84S 5.56cal" - I am sure they are very similar but this has no US parts at all as we don't have to comply with your laws over here :-)

  • @codster46 mak 90 is short for modified AK 1990 so if you want to get technical none are real AK-47 except a true Russian made Ak-47 all the rest are AK variants but still use the exact same design, function, and parts of a real AK-47

  • are u useing sub-sonic ammo?

  • @whatdafloopyjoop - no standard ammo is used here. Subs are available and make this very quiet indeed.

  • @whatdafloopyjoop - no standard FMJ Norinco

  • @whatdafloopyjoop

When using subsonic ammo in a supressed SKS / AK the action probably won't cycle.

  • @ghinhau

At your local gundealer. Or over the internet. Pretty expensive with ammunition and all.

  • If took more than one shot.... you weren't using a Kaleshnikov

  • Is there a conversion kit for the .223 AK47 into a .22Lr please send me a email if you guys no.

  • the fake ones look just the same sounds good though

  • jesus christ! 2 inches at 100 yards is awesome accuracy for an ak type rifle. for clarification purposes:

    ak-47 uses 7.62x39 ammo

ak-74 uses 5.45x39 ammo(same brass, different projectile, more speed, this resulted as the russians tried to copy the .223)

this one shoots .223 because it is a modified clonde.

  • You may have posted this a month ago but an ak variant in .223 is not a modified weapon. They are sold like that and just a little fact from me is, my wasr-10 shooting from the bench at 100 yards gets 1.75 moa at best.

  • @Spelunker0211 Correct. You must be happy with 1.75"!!!

  • You wouldnt believe it, my theory of an infantry rifle to be adaptable is to be able to function in harsh conditions and be able to shoot out to 250 - 300 meters. The AK47 platform can deliver, although I dont think the ak47 is thee best just one of the best.

  • How much was the suppressor and are there any restrictions of having a suppressed weapon?

  • @ThEaNiMaToRgUrU Usually it's illegal. If you have a gun they prefer to hear it.

  • @ThEaNiMaToRgUrU - they cost $150 US$ here in New Zealand. No restrictions at all you can buy them off the shelf.

  • Why no hi cap mags?

  • @TheAk47Enthusiast - No hi cap mags because I was testing the suppressor off a bench - you try that with a 30 round mag and see how uncomfortable it is.....

  • That's actually very good suppression for a .223, especially shot out of a Kalashnikov.

You can't silence a high-powered rifle; you can only suppress it so the sound doesn't carry as far.

That being said, I can see that you're a gamer. You should never assume that being a gamer makes you any kind of authority on real weaponry, no matter how 1337 you are at your FPS of choice. ;P

  • i agree firing a gun isnt as easy as holding a game console controller :p

  • @aoes How in the FUCK can you get that hes a game after shooting 5 rounds out of a gun?

  • @aoes i think your the gamer...fist of all that gun shoots 7.62, and only gamers say 1337.....

  • @matt41083 didnt you read the title...?

  • @darlthris guess not, i was just going through videos real fast

  • @matt41083 it happens alot, besides, you can use a ak with anything smaller than its regular calibur, just means it will be more likely to jam or have to cock the gun again.

  • @aoes people have done pretty good with 300 win mag on youtube man. and 7.62 NATO as well.

  • No it is not an airsoft rifle - why would you think that?

  • I build them and tap threads, loud poorly designed homemade silencer

  • you dont know shit if you think thats a gay ass airsoft rifle

  • why is the buttstock different?

  • It's a post-ban sporterized version, they were altered to skirt around the 89 import ban.

  • I put a thumbhole pistol grip stock on to increase the length of pull - the standard stock is way to short for anyone over 5 foot 8

  • The Norinco 84-S is a Chinese made .223 AK that has been imported into the U.S. in pre and post-ban versions. There are basically three versions of this rifle the Polytech 16 inch, the Norinco 16 inch and the Norinco 21 inch RPK style. All are available in pre and post ban forms. The 84-S uses special .223 mags and will even allow you to use AK-74 mags in the gun. However you can only load about 20 rounds in the AK-74 clips before they start to malfunction.

  • I didn't lie - it's manufactured the same as AK47's (but not Russian - it's a Chinese clone) but in another calibre - I only stated AK47 so people can recognise the rifle type.....

  • It's a Norinco 84S - .223 cal straight out of the box. Maybe you don't get em over your way but we have thousands of them here in New Zealand :-)

  • deff not a 223 look at shells on table they look like .22 and you can see a couple land on table

  • "Definately a .22 " my ass!!! It's my rifle - don't you think I know what calibre it is knucklehead??? Norinco 84S - Google it before you make wise-ass statements like that!

  • is there a 5 round capacity limit in nz

somoene told me you can have high caps but need a special license

  • Yes there is a 7 round max capacity for semi autos otherwise the firearm falls into another category requiring a different endorsement on your licence.

  • personally i think that is better than banning guns requiring a special license is a good compromise guns are too easy to get here 4 cops just got shot by another lunatic with a gun in wash

however i dont like the idea of banning guns outright it seems unfair to a person like you who is resposible, i favor laws like NZ has.. you have a good country

    cheers

  • Hey, i have a moderately revolutionary theory!

    i think that a .22LR is better than a suppressed .223.

by the time you suppress it, and get subsonic ammo for it,it has a similar trajectory, accuracy potential and power(sorta) to a .22. They have about the same sound, too (around 110 decibels)

just a theory, what do you guys think?

  • sounds like a .22!!

  • No - the standard AK47 uses the 7.62x39 round.

  • Don't talk.

  • Calibre FAIL!

  • A lot of people flat out WRONG in the comments. The AK74 is 5.45 x39. Not a 5.56

  • Correct. This is a Norinco 84S not an AK 74

  • i messed up i meant yours not ours ya looks like a DRAGOUNOV to me you say its AK i dont know

  • it's not an svd it's exactly what the title says it just has a thumbhole stock and a 5 round mag.

  • dude that gun is awesome i love it i would so wanna shoot one is it still loud wit da supressor cuz you were still wearing ear protection it doesnt sound that loud to me but its ours i love it it looks amazing

  • why did you go with the 223 i mean thats a nato round...well 5.56 is but same thing...it just kinda defeats the point of getting a ak 47 i mean its realy just a bad shooting m4... are they and the m4 priced about the same?

  • Hi - I "went for this" solely to add to my AK collection - I have them in .223, 7.62x39, and a converted Saiga 7.62x54 (.308). Thanks.

  • how much did you pay im looking to get one

  • This was $500 plus suppressor total $650

  • dang werer at? and how long ago thats cheap

whats the groups at 100 yrds like?

  • I'm in New Zealand. Got it about 5 years ago.Groups around 2 inches at 100 yards and that's with the suppressor fitted.

  • What grain ammo is best for this? Will 62 grain work ok? I read somewhere that nothing over 55 grain is good for this gun. Anyone know?

  • Sure it will work (cycle) fine. Accuracy will depend on many factors particular to your rifle though.

  • love the ak shoots like a bb gun

  • where can i get a suppresser from

  • The bolt is louder than the actual shot, lol. What kind of ammo were u using, please?

  • 7.62x39 im guessing. its what you use for ak's

  • No, I was asking him what brand, but thanks anyway, and his actually shoots .223, same Cal, as the M-16/AR-15.

I believe there's an Ak that shoots 7.62x54 also, don't quote me, but I think it's the 30/06 round. They made so many different types from various nations, I lost track.

  • ok but i didnt quote you that made no sence i think the brand they use is wolf, performance ammunition or Lellier & Bellot. im pretty sure they fire 7.62x39 im not completely sure .223 bullets do look like ak 47 bullets but so do .50 (kinda)

  • Uhm...OK, but I'll wait for the maker of this vid to respond, but like I said before,THANKS ANYWAY!

  • read the description this gun shoots .223 or 5.56x45 not 7.62x39

  • im pretty sure the 7.62x54 is the .308 and they wouldn't shoot that in an ak. to much kick

  • Standard .223 Wolf.

  • interesting

  • I wanna get a supressor so that I can quit anticipating the BOOM.

  • More like .22 lr! XD

  • uhh no dont think so 22 is a pea shooter

  • orly?

  • of course it will kill someone and its accurate as shit and bullets are very inexpensive but the recoil is like nothing lol

  • so what is your argument? You did nothing but praise the .22 caliber round.

  • im not arguing with anyone the person above said its more like a 22 so i was saying that that 22 is a pea shooter because the gun being shot is definetly not a 22 . and i put that other comment below that so people didnt bitch about me hating on the 22

  • yes really

    do you own a gun?

  • by far the best suppressor ive heard.

  • umm why would u get a ak that shoots a .223, thats not really a ak anymore once you do that

  • technically, a .223 is an ak74, not ak47, unless Im mistaken...

  • I think the AK-74 is chambered in 5.45x39. But I have seen models like the AK-102 that shoot 5.56

  • realisticly why silence it unless your gonna scope it.

  • Need Subsonic Rounds =(

  • he also needs to ditch that thumhole mak90 style stock. get a krink style folder, pistol grip, 30round mag and foregrip.

  • very silent

  • is 5.56 and 7.62 the same diameter? DUDE.......?!?

    correct is it.:

    5.56x 45 western

    (or called .223 remington)

    5.56 x 39 eastern and

    7,62 x 51 western

    ( or called .308 winchester)

    7,62 x 34 eastern

  • arent 5.56 .223 and 7.62 all the same diamiter? because an ak47 is in 7.62 mm. or in this case 5.56. m16s are 5.56 or .223 right?

  • Obviously 5.56 is NOT a 7.62 caliber :-)

You're right that the ak47 is most often a 7.62 round, but they do make them in other calibers. This one has been made to take the 5.56x45 NATO round.....which is the same casing as the .223 but different length bullets.

I have heard that shooting .223 rounds from a 5.56 NATO rifle won't be as accurate compared to the same round fired from a .223 rifle....something to do with more length in the throat before the rifling starts, this upsets the bullet.

  • internet know it alls most of are all wrong

  • Are you using super sonic or sub sonic? It sounds like super sonic, but i am not positive

  • These are off the shelf rounds not sub sonic

  • will it cylce the bolt with sub sonic loads?

  • no,not unless you buy a weaker spring.

  • oh i figured as much :) will the bolt jump the rails then?

  • I would hope not , haven't ever heard of subsonic rounds doing that ,so my best guess would be no.depending on the condition of the bolt if there are not any notches or rust on it or the rails then you shouldn't get jammed up with any sub or supersonic ammunition.

  • mk:) i only have 1 ak left its a 74 varient and, its just neat to know more about the guns you own , ya know :)

  • its obvious that this is normall ammo, due to sonic crack which is loud on this vid
