Such a shame :( was brought up chasing class 50's with my old man...was to young to remember which ones i seen, good to have some still in peservation but upsetting to see these fine locos awaiting there fate...
this takes me back to the day i left the royal navy 13th feb 1991,on the way home i saw these 50,s and as i went to write the numbers down i saw that the nameplates were missing and then it dawned on me what was happening,i was gutted. so glad you filmed them before they were lost forever.
Where did u find this peice of music its beautiful nd goes so well with the video as we bid farewell to the lost, Great video with a sad story behind it 5*'s

Used to see those class 50's on the scrap lines every day - they seemed to be there for years just rotting away: then one day, they were gone. Shame.
