  • Best thing is to put it to the test in MMA - if not. It will work great against a drunk guy. Not hating, just reality. Cheers

  • These guys do not look like Justin Bierber, and the are overweight by the international BMI standards. Therefore they are faggots. But wait, they are Spanish, and therefore can not be overweight. Only Fat USAians can be fat, according the the international experts on You Tube. But my eyeballs say they are overweight, but they are Spanish, and therefore can' t be overweight. The only conclusion is that Logic and Reason do not exist, and reality does not exist. QED

  • for all you haters dont talk shit bout a style of fighting till you've either actually tried it or got your ass kicked by it

  • OH NO!!! Batman fighting Batman. It's like dividing by zero!!!!!

  • fake asshole, fake fighting, not practical. Bullshit fighting tactics and will glady rip you off and take you money.

  • @chavios find a gym somewhere and visit the KFM guys and try fighting them if this all is so fake.

  • @chavios What combat arts would you consider to be real fighting?

  • Dudes, this stuff is no new way of fighting. It's been done in prisons by blacks. That movement with elbows is the same way done in prisons when a fights broke out, because often times prisons are small or cramped. So fighting with extended arms is not always an option as that is why elbows are used. Check out 52 Blocks and see for yourselves. It's not rehearsed like you see here in these videos, so it's not so pretty. It real time fighting. 52 Blocks... check it out.

  • Ive seen 52 and i doesn't look to similar to keysi. Keysi is way more explosive and based on rage. 52 looks more nimble like a dance the stance is also totally different

  • Just because you use your elbows to strike doesn't make it KFM.

I'm sure people in prisons elbow eachother all the time.

  • Do you think some browns do it too.

  • why is it that ive been taking a year of it already and we have been dong elbows AND ALSO EXTENDED ARMS? HMMM i wonder why? Also why is it ive been in real fights before and i found this very effective? HMMM I WONDER WHY

  • ho1810, you have no fucking idea of what the philosophy behind KFM is. So do us all a favour and keep your mouth shut.

  • lol @ keysi is from the heart!

i think this is a joke!

    Queensby rules all the way!

and they teach you in a pub/club situations its all in your head and heart put your 2 fists up and have a go i say

  • When they say keysi is from the heart, they mean it's instinctive, your mind doesn't have to process every move you try to make, therefore you can fight much quicker and react much faster too. If you go into a fight not knowing what you're doing, you are gonna get wrecked.

  • Im still not convinced that this is any good even after all the Keysi Demo vids Ive seen.

  • Check out the KFM training vids in my faves. If you know fighting you will begin to understand how brutal and effective this style can be in the right hands.

  • pretty bad ass..looks like a mix between every other hybrid self defense system plus JKD.

  • These movements need to be watched and understood before you can just start catergorizing them as something all mixed together. These guys are actually going really slow and are displaying only their white level stuff. Which is very practical for a street fight. The foot movement and the body motion make it quite easy for anyone to use these techniques effectively.

  • Its a bot of other Martial Arts like Kempo Karate, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune do and something else but it dose open your mind up with technices and tactics and stragertys

  • Bad form, reaching down to the guy on the floor with an elbow strike? From what I've seen of KFM this seems pretty typical. A punch straight down or a stomp would have done the job more effectively with more force from that angle and left the guy standing in a more balanced position. This may be fine for someone who is built because it looks like it requires a lot of brute strength but for "real world" personal self defense purposes look elsewhere I think.

  • Keysi or Muay Thai?

  • I don't know... Many of the Keysi moves i have seen seem to rely a lot on strength, like in this video here when the one guy puts his arm around the neck of the other guy and just pulls him down with brute force. When i see stuff like that, i can't help but wonder whether Keysi might only be for people who are strong and tough enough to not need any kind of fighting method at all. I somehow can't imagine less musculous people than the ones in those promo videos using Keysi.

  • What i mean with that is that those videos look cool and all, but they do a rather bad job advertising KFM to "normal people". The message seems rather to be: "Hey, if you are a muscle-packed professional Hollywood stuntman or seasoned night club bouncer who is used to some blows to the head and being held in a chuckhold by other buff guys, come and join us!"

  • The moves don't rely on pure strength. They may look like that because they are based on natural instincts and reactions. In a real fight, the natural instincts (a.k.a. "animal" instincts), the tension forces you to act with maximum force and simple moves.

Oh, and that headlock you say? it's actually simple and you don't need to be stronger than your opponent. The head is a weak point for balance. If you control the head, you control the body.

  • There is no fighting method in this world that can be used without (functional) strength and "some blows to the head". That's what guns are for.

  • Well i believe this fighting method is basically using the adrenaline and the animalistic nature of fighting. most likely, in a fight, you will have adrenaline flowing, which in turn will make you more "superhuman", and thus be able to perform these moves more efficiently.

  • it looks so strange i guess id give it a shot

    hey batman did it lol

  • looks like krav maga a bit looks impressive.

  • wot ever

  • KFM Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!1
