There are some serious faults in the Twilight books. The fact that this book became so incredibly popular makes me fear for our generation. I admit, I overlooked all the weirdness myself for the story that might have been good and relateable, but it's just wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong and mopey Bella.

When I read the first book, I related to her. I guess I wanted to relate to her because everyone wants to justify her awkwardness, but as I finished reading the first and second books (that's as far as I got), i realized I really disliked Bella, so maybe she's just playing the character as it is? However, I don't have an opinion about Kristen Stewart either way. There are more unlikeable hollywood personalities than her.

As an actor I like to see when someone get casts against type. But my favorite thing about this is watching an actor embody a character you wouldn't suspect they could embrace. When I think Snow White I think light, playful, and elegant. That is not against type for KS, that is against her very nature.

I would like to express my opinions on Kristen but as I have only seen the movie and never any interviews of her specifically i feel it would be in bad taste ... anyway I did rather enjoy this video and i do agree about the mopeyness she has when portraying Bella, though not having read the books myself, I assumed that was the characteristic she was supposed to have.

I agree. I have also read all the books and seen all the movies. She is off putting and comes across as rude in interviews. I hadn't see an interview with her before I saw the first Twilight movie and I at first I didn't mind her portrayal of Bella as awkward with the way she talked and her characteristics and moping around. Then I saw an interview and thought that wan't acting, that is just the way Kristen Stewart is. Now when I watch the movies I can't stand her in them.
