They may sound convincing but not once as any communist system proven itself to work. Even China is trying to take on the aspects of a capitalist society only without the democratic safeguards that might keep it from getting repressive. Democracy can't exist in a communist state.

Fair piece of propaganda, of course it's filled with one glaring lie--The Weathermen, whatever else they did, never killed anyone. Can we say the same about the powers that be at the time? They killed a million in Vietnam. So, Nixon and the powers that be killed a million. Weathermen blew up some empty offices.

@tomthefunky The Weathermen no longer existed in 1982. That was the BLA(black liberation army), you're referring to. But, it was two former Weathermen, who had joined the BLA after the Weathermen disbanded, who were involved in that and other bank robberies, as well. The Weathermen never killed anyone in their bombings(other than themselves when a bomb they were making blew up). And they certainly didn't kill millions of people( as our government did, in Vietnam).

And I read the bomb those two were making were intended to kill soldiers at an army base in New Jersey. And spare me how they were against America in Vietnam when when they were FOR Ho Chi Minh (who killed anyone who could read like his buddy Pol Pot). Now Ayers has a cushy teaching job. @tomthefunky Alright, you're throwing alot of shit at the wall. It is true that they did plan to bomb an army officer's dance at Fort Dix--you're right about that. But, in the interim, while making the bombs to do it, a bomb exploded accidently and killed two Weathemen in Greenwich village. It was at that point they decided that there would be killing. Again, The Weathermen never killed anyone. They actually took great pains and caution not to.

@roadkill439342 O'Grady and Brown were killed by the BLA and yes there were former Weathermen involved, who had joined the BLA. But, that was the BLA. No one knows who killed McDonell, no one was ever charged or convicted. That happened allegedly in retaliation for Fred Hampton being assassinated by Chicago Police(which of course, he was). Seems more likely the Black Panthers would have done that. But, who knows? We'll never know, because the FBI broke so many laws in going after the Weathermen

@tomthefunky As for being for Ho Chi Minh? I have no clue what that means. I don't know that the Weathermen were "pro," Ho Chi Minh, they were opposed to our involvement in Vietnam. As for Pol Pot it was our illegal bombing of Cambodia which helped him come to power. As for Bill Ayers, the reason why he and no other Weathermen were ever convicted of any crimes, was because the FBI broke every law in the book in going after them, thus compromising any evidence they found.
