@Iarlaithtimmins I've read on an article that there is still a little Stealth in it, this time round, the enemies will hide and try to Ambush you, so this would mean you'll have to get them before they get you, in my opinion, that's actually more intense than in the previous games (which i am NOT bashing by any stretch of the imagination) where the guards would just walk around not really expecting anyone, just doing the rounds when in this, they're are out to get YOU.

But there's one massive difference. This is turning into a hack-n-slash, action packed game. There's no stealth and no primary aspects of any Metal Gear Series. Kojima handed this to a different production and they agreed keeping stealth would ruin it. They NEED to keep the stealth aspect of this game in order to make it unique, If I wanted a hack-n-slash I would've picked Ninja Gaiden.

This game was supposed to be a failed project but the creators of Bayonetta came in and are finishing it for him. So what would you rather have? This game or no game at all? Back in 2010 people were going crazy about how MGS: Rising looked like just another action game despite comments from developers clearly saying that it would be 100% stealth action just like before (only thing that would change was the stealth would be more 'Hunter and Prey' esque.)

Now i agree that this game is different and well could possibly fail. But to let everyone know that Hideo Kojima did not want to work on this game. This game was supposed to be a failed project but the creators of Bayonetta came in and are finishing it for him. So what would you rather have? This game or no game at all? I think they did a splendid job on this game,and well its raiden,not snake so of course its going to be different.

Back in 2010 people were going crazy about how MGS: Rising looked like just another action game despite comments from developers clearly saying that it would be 100% stealth action just like before (only thing that would change was the stealth would be more 'Hunter and Prey' esque.)
Now people are saying how the 2010 version looked like a true MGS game with stealth and all that while this version is a piece of shit that looks more like a mindless action game.
Geez give the developers some air

Raiden had hundreds of hours of VR training and he successfully infitrated the Big Shell, I'd say he's pretty good at stealth. But, then he got his new body and there is no need for stealth when you're badass, you know?
