I am as for this type of organization as I am against it because they also take liberties.I will NEVER donate to an organization that promotes itself like the SPCA or HSUS.They steel the food and care out of the very mouths they claim to save by the fact they hire celebrities, prime time TV ,send jackets, T-shirts, hats ,or whatever out to those who give.I would not NEED validation for my donation. It is nothing more than hype, a business to make money!

I know what you mean, it's just pure cruel and heartless how people think it's just alright to abandon any animal. My cat, Bubba, we found him abandoned in the local park, he was dirty and starving and cold and only about 8-9 weeks old. It was horrific.

He is nearly 3 years old now and a happy cat, very healthy and loved and always full.

We actually didn't have the means to care for an extra pet when we found him, it was just before Christmas as well, so taking him to a local shelter was not optional... you know what happens to abandoned animals during Christmas because of the huge flood they get in.....

The RSPCA really can't help it though, they try their best. ;_;

I watch the SPCA commercials poor animals I would help them if I had the money my two favorite ones are blondie and nathaniel. Poor little kitten got his paw hurt now it's in a cast oh I feel so bad for him and if u don't know who I'm talking about it's Nathaniel. He's hurt because of his owner who left him on the street I think his paw got ran over by a car

It is sad when someone abandons a pet early on. Back when I was about 13, my cousin and I found a very small kitten abandoned on the side of the road while we were out driving in the woods. The little thing was starving and shaking so much from being out in the cold so long. Unfortunately, my mom wouldn't let me take it in because we couldn't afford it. So we ended up putting it in a shelter. I insisted on a no kill shelter. I hope the little thing found a nice home. I miss it!

@DeadlyInsomnia :( I had to give up my kitties, I believe they were age 3-4 and 5, loved them like children...but I had to move out to go to college....and mom gave them to a new home...but I feel like I abandoned them, one had a sort of anxiety disorder or other, which I also have :(...so she was very dear to me, and deathly afraid of most things when her big sis wasn't around to romp with her. its been 3 years and it still upsets me, I feel in denial at times that they arent mine still :(

Great video--I love Himalayans :-) I have a grey domestic longhair (neutered male) whom I adopted 4 years ago after neighbors abandoned him when they moved. Last year I made an important discovery---keep cats away from cinnamon brooms--my cat unfortunately likes the scent and chewed on it. He was very sick for about three days, but recovered just fine. I called the vet and he confirmed that cinnamon was the culprit. The cinnamon brooms I bought at the store had no pet warnings!
