@LexiRuizzz rats can take baths, rats are actually natural swimmers, the only thing is that rats can get dry skin if in the water to much, thats why when giving a rat a bath your suppost to use baby or kitten shampoo to keep their skin moist.

In captivity, the animal knows it’s going to die, but it has no chance of escaping, because it’s in an enclosed area. In many current pet stores, they kill rats by either putting the animal to sleep with CO gas, or use a sharp object to the back of the head. It’s a humane way of killing them.

Rats are mainly very clean animals. It's the parasites that live on them that carry the germs. I think this was the case during the great plague. My brother owned 2 albino rats once. These were highly intelligent and gentle creatures. Although they had immense power in their jaws and teeth handled carefully they were big softies. There are many misconceptions floating around about this creature.You don't have to like rats but don't hate them all for the wrong reasons. Thanks, great video.

@VictorPhillip Actually rats are in the same family as other mice (Muridae). Their subfamily (Murinae) also contains for example the House Mouse and The Wood Mouse. "Rat" doesn't have "mouse" in the name, but other than that you can't really say "rat or mouse".
