Could you upload the actual movie? It's impossible to get it where Im stationed and we dont even have VHS's over here anymore. They wont convert this to DVD for some odd reason so you'd really be helping keeping this alive in way if you did that or knew somebody who has.
@ponto That sucks, and I don't even know anybody who owns a VHS player anymore! They havent converted this to DVD for some reason and Im guesing it's because nobody is seeing it unless they type George Washington on youtube. I stumbled onto this by pure chance then did a search on the title and it looks pretty good for an 80's movie.
I love that I found this on here - finally!!! I've had a copied VHS of this whole thing since my 7th grade history teacher showed it in school. I love this movie!!!
I know it... my mom's going to love it;) She ended up taking me to Mount Vernon for the 200th anniversary funeral reenactment in 1999 - h.s. graduation gift:) Good times.
My husband was in this movie too. I have been hearing about it for 15 years...and enjoyed finally seeing a clip and looking for someone. He was in a scene with a drunken riot outside Washington's house in Philadelphia. Thanks!
I was fortunate enought to have worked on this minis series when it was shot on location in Philadelphia. The crew left no stone unturned in terms of historical accuracy of all sets. The costume was not all that comfortable and my feet hurt from long hours. But it was well worth it!
This vid is hilarious. I loved that series when it was on tv. Good for you being part of it!

@NickDanger0001 You could tell? We're all a bit blurry in that scene, except for B. Bostwick.

@joetylerdale Tragically, we were not given whiskey, sir - not even to get ourselves into the roles.

I want to buy this movie, so much. I love Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton's portrayals in this movie.

That's MY hand pulling off his wig. Poor guy, it was pretty firmly attached to his hair.

LOL, I remember we faked the fifes and drums because the rental horses spooked everytime. Hey, I'm in there too, right behind Keith.
