how the piss do you kill deer ticks? My 10 week old puppy has brought them in on me and I have no idea what to do. I've been picking them off of him and smashing them between my thumb nails. :/ He has a freakin' flea & tick collar, apparently they don't work or something. @kbenge89 For one deer tick's are extremely dangerous, my puppy was bitten by one and she got limes disease, she got very weak wouldn't eat her food wouldn't play, hair loss, and vomiting. The vet gave us pills to treat her but said not to get our hopes up, luckily she survived but just barely. The only way i have ever heard to take care of them is to make sure you're puppy doesn't go anywhere near the woods, and if you're yard has them then treat the yard and put anti-tick meds on you're pup.

i had a flea problem last year in my bedroom from my cat every time i put my hand or foot on the floor i had fleas on me and i read this tip somewhere that said to put a bowl of water on the floor because fleas are for some reason attracted to water but the problem is that they are that light they sit on the surface and do not drown and can jump off again,so what you need to do is put a little olive oil in so they stick to the surface and cannot jump out,THIS WORKS,i manged to catch HUNDREDS.

Vacuum. That's what I did. My bitch ass roommate brought fleas into our apartment with her cats and her dog and then left on vacation. A week later I walked across the apartment to pour a glass of milk, looked down, and there were 30 or so fleas on my socks! Borax powder like the stuff from FleaBusters is harmless if applied correctly. It has a neutral pH and because there is no excess (it has been vacuumed thoroughly), it is immediately safe for children and pets.

And a quality topical treatment can kill eggs as well. Cedarcide looks like a good product, but I'll stick with Frontline for now. (Yes, I've read that topicals are OMG POIZON!, but if you look carefully, it's only some that are the really bad cuplrits.)
