  • Haha how you haven't died I don't know haha

  • I first thought it was a sit on lawn mower

  • sounds good

  • damn i hate 40 second video...make it longer!!

  • That is totally cool! Is it inboard powered or is there an outboard hidden inside?

  • @706jim1 Inboard 4 cycle motor, could use a few more horses.

  • LOL, What did you name it?

  • Fantastic !!!

  • That is awesome two thumbs up :D

  • that is really cool i wont one now : )

  • Needs shade

  • Take the governor out of the engine maybe? It's easy to do and it lets the engine spin right up to whatever the prop will allow.

Nice looking boat though, it's a hoot!

  • this is f****n awesome.

  • It only has one seat.....no room for the beer and babes! Back to the drawing board maestro!

  • hey look its shitty shitty bang bang. lol jk jk its aculy pretty cool

  • Make it look more steam punk.

  • Thanks!

Yes, it actually started as a hollow wooden surfboard, then I added the pontoons and body to make the boat.

  • Well, that is one COOL looking boat!

    Your own design?

  • is you throttle wide open? i want to do the same setup thanks.

  • @meposkot It is, you may want to try a larger motor than a 6.5 hp if your boat can handle the weight. I think my prop has just a little more pitch than my motor can bear, can't reach full rpms.

  • hi there what size did you use thanx

  • Hey! you could build a belt clutch for this! 2 pulleys with a loosened belt on it! if you put the lever in the wheel presses in the belt and creates friction so the propshaft turns :)

  • @SthealthRaider Yes, in fact i used that type of clutch on a gocart I made, and a golf cart, video search words (homemade utility vehicle). I wanted to use something like it on he boat except there isn't much space under the hood, and weight is also an issue.

  • Does it have enough power to get up on plane?

  • @regnidak Could use more power, maybe 2 or three horses more, doesn't quite level out.

  • how did you made the shaft waterproof with the ship so water doesnt come into ship???? i wanna build mah own boat too :P

  • @SthealthRaider Just make sure the top of the pipe holding the shaft is above the waterline and that it is sealed where it comes through the boat hull and you won't have any leakage. Most boats need a seal at the top of the shaft because the engine and shaft holder top are below the waterline.

  • do you have the building plans?

    nice work!

  • @Bram97310 No plans, winged it all the way, the boat actually started out as a surfboard. I added the pontoons for extra flotation and built the body on top of the board.

  • verry nice!! :D

  • Wow, awesome boat. I like how maneuverable it is.

  • The motor is a 6.5 hp horizontal shaft general use 4 cycle. It is directly driving a shaft that goes at a 10 degree angle to the propeller which comes out of the hull right about where the driver sits.

  • what motor did you use? What are you using to get the motor power to the propellor?
