@umega5 In the early 1900's an american called HP lovecraft crafted (yes a play on his name) one of the most compelling and frankly frighting mythos about ancient creatures and old gods and pretty much everything that goes bump in the night. he opened his world to other authors and the early Gothic writers of this century and the old ones of the Victorian that came before it ended up making one of the most enduring fictionalized religion since Tolkien.
