Transcribe allows you to try their software for free, but once the trial is done, you have to purchase it to be able to continue using it. Transcribe is the best out there at what it does, but only because people support it by buying it. If you liked Transcribe you can buy it from them using the link in the description box. If that's not an option for you, VLC media player is a free media player with some very basic looping and rate change capabilities.
Hello! Can this software help you figure out the exact notes played in a longer phrase, for instance in a piano solo? (PS: Do you know of any software that will transcibe what you play on a midi controller into notes in realtime?)
continued from previous comment: w/ a lot of technical things which I'm not familiar w/ like spectrums and the like . Please drop me a message showing me how to guess the notes from vocal part if transcribe! can do so! Thanks a ton! P.S. If it can't please let me know too so that I can uninstall it right away!
Hi, it's great tutorial. I'm glad that I was able to sit thru it. However, I will not be an advanced user for transcribe! All I want to know from the song I like is the notes for the main melody. And I would like to know how to obtain a sheet music from transcribe!. I don't really care about what instruments in the background. All I care is the notes the singer sings. I'm sorry if this sounds demanding. I'm just quite frustrated 'cause I'm not musician, and whenever I try a software, it opens w/
Thanks very much for the kind comment! I don't plan on making any more videos on transcribe right now, maybe if a new version comes out. I don't know quite where to start with the section markers, but if something wasn't clear, or you have a specific question I'd be glad to email you and put more info up on my website.
Please help me how to use transcribe again after the trial expiration period?

These are the best tutorials on Transcribe! I have seen so far. This really helped me explore the software.
Could you go into more detail on how to use the section markers with preset devisions?
