I got the olympus pen epl1 and doesnt hae a firework choice. only a usb connection , and an analog. it does habe the option of microusb to hdmi. Does if I use an analog to usb video digitlizer or I simply use hdmi to connect, would dragon read the hdmi source or analog as video?

PLEASE HELP ME. ive got dragon stop motion 2.2.1 and i love using it. but i have a big problem with it. when i add audio i dont know how to add multiple WAV sounds song ect. what happens is i open up the audio window then i press load to get my WAV file then i add it and potion it to the frame i want to be be in but heres the problem... when i got to add another WAV file i press load and then i deletes the previous WAV file and over rights it with the one i just put up.

Nice review. The only thing I'd suggest is not using batteries in a camera for stop motion. Use an AC adapter if you have it.

You don't happen to know if this program has the pretty useful feature of 'hiding' frames, so that you can test how the animation looks without selected frame/s, without committing to a full delete?

@GeckoGrip Check the dragon website for camera compatibility. It only does live view for cameras that have it.

This program is really good. Got a free trial and its blown me away with its ease of use. I dont have a live view camera, but it seems to be just as easy, and thanks for pointing out the pen tool. That will aid us non-liveview types. ;)

I try so hard on how to make good stop motion using softwares instead of movie maker, how do you make a choppy stop motion look smooth or just make a smooth one all together?

Im not sure i understand the question.

But you do not need any software to make a smooth stop motion. But a framegrabber helps because you always know where you are and how far youve come.

There is nothing wrong with using moviemaker to edit your films.

But if you are using a stills camera you will need a method to asemble the stills. dragon stopmotion can do it. Quicktime can also do it.

It is compatible with quite a bit of cameras. Which camera are you trying to use that is not supported? There is another version due out soon, It is curently in beta, Perhaps the camera you are trying to use will be compatible after that? I only know about the Canon 40D. I would suggest posting in their forums if you are trying to figure out compatibility with your hardware and cameras.

Dragon Stop Motion is great and works as advertised. Because it didnt break the bank I was able t buy a copy to play around with in my free time.

Boyquire, have you tried using your 40d with nikkor lenses to get rid of flicker?
