@popis3493 TKD is divided into two practices, sport and combat. Most people assume that the sport TKD is the same as combat TKD, but they are actually very different fighting styles and you are obviously referencing sport TKD since your talking about points.

@22sungho ehhh in tae kwon do punc is valid to the chest area.. rips, stomach chest itself. actually a won two months ago a tournament with a straight punch over the chest as a last resource. It is true. In the scoring system for TKD the punch only add a single point when is performed to the chest blue/red Coulored area, only if your opponent cant continue the fight for a while or allows you to win if they get K.O'ed. Many academys doenst train the punch to score.

Both good martial art. However, Karate wins these fights because Taekwondo is like a wind; fast and agile while Karate is like mountain, strong, stable and steady.
No matter how many kicks the TKD guys throws at the Karate guys (as seen in the video), the Karate guys pull through even though they (the kicks) connect.
However, several punches from Karate (as seen in the video) seem to cause internal injury to TKD guys.
@rimidalvetarak you're so right, i was a taekwondo player when i was a kid, taekwondo use more kicks than karatedo, i admit taekwondo kicks are faster, but isn't it taekwondo was developed from karate?
@joey143anna Well. From what I heard and read about MA history, TKD was developed from Shotokan Karate. But hey, who knows about the reality of what exactly happen then right?
Anyway, technically speaking, the actual technique or movements of the kicks b/w Karate and TKD are exactly the same actually (sure minor variations occur).
However, main biggest diff. is in the ratio b/w punch, kicks and grappling the whole system utilises. In which TKD uses mostly kicks.
@rimidalvetarak i have seen brown belt taekwondo katas, they really look like katas from karate! but the difference is, they're katas are a lot more faster. I have seen lots of vs here majority the winners are karatedo! Btw my sensei observed my kicks he whispered to my father that i could be promoted, i just need to master the shir-u? is it shur-i?
Im curious how many paper tiger are here. People that watch UFC all the time and think they are the authority on fighting.......its a joke. . just like TKD, sorry, i studied it for 6 years , its no good. Kyokushin is really the best art you can take and still be a traditional japanese style
Well this Karate style is not allowed to hit the face. Shotokan style hits every part of the body with higher speed and the TKD fighter would not have a chance staying that long in a fight with Shotokan style.

this is the reason i've stopped TKD. WTF TKD has really brought the martial arts part of it to the ground and it no longer generates martial artists but athletes who can't take a punch or throw one...what's ironic is that TKD derives from shotokan karate so they should be really good at blocking and countering punches but i guess all that was thrown aside in pursuit to become an Olympic sport.
Originally Korean Taekundo was created in 1955 by Choi Hong Hi who studied Shotokan Karate in Japan. His biggest mistake is he mixed Korean traditional Taekkyeon Dance with Karate. Because Taekkyeon is not pure martial art but the martial dance for celemony or entertainment. This is good example that shows us sometimes ethnic pride becomes obstructive.
to all people who are fighting on which is better , both are good martial arts
dont disregard taekwondo by saying to much flashy kicks , those flashy kicks have a method to them , and dont praise karatedo to much cuase we have players who fight as well as them ,both martial arts have strenghts and weaknesses
T'aegwondo was first brought into Korea from Japan in the form of Japanese karate around the time of the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule.
The way this fact has been dealt with in Korea has left many serious inconsistencies in the way T'aegwondo has been developed within Korea and propagated abroad. ttp://up.menti.org/src/upfl1872.zip
The development of a new system of techniques and training was under-taken by moving away from Karate’s nature as martial art of self-defense through the development of t’aegwondo as a sport. This has been called the “competitionalization” or sportization of t’aegwondo. (History of Taekwondo: Problems in the Identity and Philosophy of T’aegwondo and Their Historical Causes)
@chraw1983 They are masters of the bare fist in both their disiplines.. you know nothing of this. you dont even know the rules or you wouldnt ask this question. Osu
This demonstrates how TKD their side stance provides a good spot to launch flashy kicks from. however close range it is neutralised and it shows how TKD should focus more on punches and close range combat. in the side stance TKD is very prone to get their lead leg kicked hard. The kyokushin training is regularly recieving punches and kick all over the body as part of the training. TKD wears wooden planks/pads on their body and hardly punch. none the less Kyokushin could learn from sum TKD kicks.
@gav182 its not like the TKD guy just magically showed up in the middle of a ring and forced to fight a kyokushin fighter.... he accepted the fight and did go in assuming he would win. it also depends on the person but TKD if he cant get you with spinning heel hooks, back kicks or head kicks chances are they lose. it demonstrated how TKD is weak in the punches/close range.TKD is is good to learn speed and flashy kicks, but over all you should not ignore the punches/power straights/hooks/uppercut
the TKD guys should focuse on making their body stronger instead of their ego. Noone cares about their fancy pansy flying kicks. It works on a still object but not against hard as nails karatekas.
they aren't shit... they are just much softer and weaker than these karatekas... they probably thought they were prety good in their TKD matches and practises... they tried to throw some very deceant kicks but the karatekas had no problem absorbing the blows.
@TheDiamond123123 Hallo my friend but what you said is not realy good... Because I think alot of the Karatekas have a big ego. But the most Taekwondoins out there are realy nice people. And Karate is not better than Taekwondo... There is no better Martial Art in the world it always depends on the person. !!! If you don´t believe me you should trafel around the world and fight some good Martial Artists.
I was talking about the TKD guys in this video as I have stated a houndred times below.
You saying that karatekas have big egos i s the same as someone saying ALL tkd practitioners are weak, you don't know that. And it's the complete opposite.
@TheDiamond123123 I don´t mean all Karatekas but a big part of the Karatekas I know have a big Ego but that´s ok you know I respect them and their Art
You tell me not to generalise TKD fighters as weak, but you generalise "most karatekas" as egoistic, when I only talk about THIS ONE VIDEO! i don't say all TKD's , I say that these tkd fighters IN THIS ONE VIDEO are weak. NOT ALL OF THEM IN THE WORLD!
Karatekas are all about basic moves, power/speed, and that is most effective in battles, as you saw in this video, the BLACK belt master TKD fighters had no fighting condition and soft bodies. And I didn't see any egoisitc karatekas.
@TheDiamond123123 sorry my friend but I think you don´t understand my point... but I try to say it in a better way "I´m not talking about the Karatekas out there in the world just about some I personaly know!!!" you should read carefully. And I never said that they are egoistic, I said big Ego like in "hey I´m the best no one can beat me." cause some of my nice Karateka friends like to talk this way. I mean my friends man.
@TheDiamond123123 And what allows you to say this fighter is bad he might lost but if he would be this bad he wouldn´t fight there and the people wouldn´t be watching. You should challange him and beat him to say something like that but even if you win you should respect the other person.
because you're a fanboy and I'm not. You have this strange TKD fanboyism. I don't have any fanboyism.
This videos karate fighters outclassed the TKD fighters, they made the tkd fighters look like wimps. It's because the karatekas were tougher and stronger and better than tkd fighters.
That's all I commented, the fighters in this very video, I don't say EVERYONE in the world, it's you who is constantly saying that shit.
Maby your english is little bit "weak" that you can't get it?
@TheDiamond123123 haha ok now I´m mad :D... You made me cry because I´m not a fan boy I´m a freaking addict. Taekwondo is my life ! But let us forget about what I said!! I respect all the guys doing Karate because it´s a great Art too.
you just don't understand my point. I only commented on this video. And in this videos the TKD guys were no match at all to the karatekas... their kicks and punches didn't hurt while the karatekas delivered piercing hits and kicks which were overwhelming. I commented on what I saw, which were comparison between these very karatekas and tkd fighters.
@TheDiamond123123 you waist my time... I got it the first time you said it. I think you don´t get my point but that´s ok. I don´t want to waist more words for unimportant things like this. Have a nice day ;)
@TheDiamond123123 the TKD guys have a very techniques it's just this fighter who chose to do jumping kicks instead of keeping his defense up any other taekwondo student would fight using their flexibility to their advantage instead of going for the one hit strategy this guy's doing
@TheDiamond123123 not always if you notice when the TKD guy was doing all those jumps every one of his attacks hit the opponent the only downside is he couldn't keep his balance and kept falling down
but in general jumping kicks when used are very effective and powerful for the one hit knockout technique
if this were a real battle sittuation, those tkd practitioners would've just waisted there time and the fight would've ended in few seconds because they can't stand. They barely had any power behind their little show moves (which were mediocre to say the least). The karatekas show cased balance, focuse, accuracy and power... all of which the tkd guys lack.
It's pointless to talk about "usually, mostly, some tkd guys.." because I'm talking about this video right here.
@TheDiamond123123 well in this video right here i would agree that the TKD guys aren't very good however the karate guys hardly show any balance they mostly stand there and go for a shot when they see an opening and i applaud them for it but if it were a real battle situation then the TKD guys would not fight like this (this fight indicates that it is a point sparring match) and we cannot know how powerful their kicks are just by looking at them they may look weak by they are much stronger
Tthe tkd fighters tried to hit an open area aswell, what's your point, that's fighting. This is a competition if you can't see it. The tkd guys were hurt each and every one of them after their fight lying on the ground in pain, some probably broke a rib it seems. The tkd fighters fought as they were taught, against another tkd fighter.
Silly to say you didn't "see any balance" with the karatekas when they a had solid form and made the tkd fighters grow tirred.
@TheDiamond123123 balance is defined as supporting your body by a smaller pinpointed area of your body such as ballet dancer's standing on the points of their toes
and it is very unlikely that the TKD guys broke a rib if they were they would have coughed blood as their intestines would have been punctured
also the TKD guys did not look tired if anything they were more energetic than the karate guys
yeah, that's why they fell down because of their primitive skills. That's why they were in pain lying on the ground. That's why they didn't have any chanse against the karatekas head on, or in any other way.
They got tirred after giving few shots because their hits didn't have any effect on the karatekas because they were much better conditioned than the tkd fighters and that's why they lost with points and a knock out aswell. That's in the video.
@TheDiamond123123 their skill aren't primitive as i explained before the moves the use are basically the same as the karate guys and i don't blame them if they got tired they probably fought a number of hard battles before and continued after sustained heavy damage and im sure the karate guys did too which is probably why they stood still and solid but i admire the TKD guys for going the extra distance and pushing out such advance techniques they are not weak
probably this, probably that, would've, could've. At the end the harder and better fighters wone... well, it's all in this video, so.
The TKD fighters had tkd stance and the karatekas had karate stance. The tkd guys fought carelesly, jumping and throwing out too much energy, and that may look flashy but what did it accomplish? Nothing, except the fact that they got useless with their fancy techniques that had nothing to do with reality when it comes to winning. And they got hurt.
@TheDiamond123123 the stances they used didn't belong just to TKD and karate it's widely used in all martial arts and if you ask me they bought fought carelessly making simple mistakes like kicking from the back leg and not keeping their hands up and yes they got hurt but that was because they had a poor defense it had nothing to do with their kicks which are effective and are not for showing off
Yeah, and that stance is horrid in fighting when the opponent has a more solid stance. Those fancy kicks hit and land if the opponent is slow as mule, but against a conditioned and awere opponent, lol, like a karateka, you just fall on your ass and you get tirred.
Every tkd guy suffered against the karatekas in this video and that's how it is. The karatekas were much better fighters, period. Proofs in the pudding
if the tkd fighters are brilliant fighters, then the karatekas are THAT much better and more cunning... well after all they did crush the tkd fighters.
Even it's in video you refuse to acknowledge it, but I'm the wiser one here, so I tell you what... the karatekas lost how's that for you?.. Because I know that everyone who's not a fanboy of TKD will agree with what I said.
But yeah, have your dream, the karatekas lost, this video is fake, have fun
@TheDiamond123123 i never said that the TKD guys won the point that im putting across is that they are not weak or unfit and the kicks are effective and not just for show
i am not a fanboy i just appreciate the martial arts and the effort their fighters put in to becoming better
i fully acknowledge the karate guys won and they deserve it but there is no such thing as a weak TKD fighter nor will there ever be
and how can you even say "they wouldn't fight like this if this were a real fight".... how would they fight then if this were a "real" fight? Would they fight like karatekas then?
*sigh*, sounds like fanboyism. Because i personally would bash the karatekas aswell if they showed such weak shape and power in this competition, but they were solid and superior compared to the tkd fighters, period.
@TheDiamond123123 i am not a fanboy i just have great respect for the martial arts and do not think one is better than the other they all have their strengths and weakness's
and as for your comment "how would they fight in a real fight? would they fight like a karatekas?" if you looked at all of the martial arts styles you would see they are not all that different they all retain the basic attacks and adapt it to suit themselves
@ole0000002 also it does not matter if they look weak as long as they have power behind their movements
bottom line all martial arts boil down to the same basic movements to call the TKD fighters weak is the same as calling the karate guys weak as well thus contradicting yourself
Well you sure try your best to defend TKD in general while I only talk about the fighters in this video, you seem to take it very personally that I only state the obvious. They were out of shape and just soft compared to the karatekas which is the truth. The karateks sticked with the basics and stayed patient, I didn't see any of that from the tkd fighters. The martial art doesn't define the end of the battle the parctitioners do. As it proved that way in this video.
@TheDiamond123123 Agreed....also look when those TKD guys do the fancy spinning heel kicks. They end up slipping and falling to the floor where they would be stomped into oblivion if the referee wasn't there.
exactly this is what I'm trying to say. I mean sure, they cought the karatekas by some sourprise, but with what cost? No damage, losing needed energy and a fall. And even the hardest punching tkd fighter just couldn't breake the karate fighters. I think it's actually really ironic that all the tkd fighters here lost and were really hurt after the fight.
tkd isn't a lowsy martial art nor useless but these tkd fighters here were compared to the karate fighters, that's all.
@TheDiamond123123 karatekas should learn how to be more technical and how to get a punch in the head cause sometimes their whole world breaks down when they realize sparring is not going close and start trunk punching.
Don't start fanboying, I'm only talking about the video what weäre watching here and the fighters in it.
But I agree that it's silly to practise power punches only on the body, but punches to the face are forbidden unless you're in K-1. tkd and karate has almost the same rules. You can kick in the head but not punch.
@HermesDo He's a Kyokushin practicioner, they dont train punches to the head. And obviously body punches work pretty well that weak ass TKD guy in the first couldnt even take one good one. TKD= money factory for the "master" and thats about it
@HermesDo ????? lolol tkd guys should stop getting butthurt and finally realize how ineffective their art is in an actual bout instead of being in denial :|
@HermesDo oh i agree with u tkd is a good addition when u know another art, or learning it just for the basics. however, alone, it rly isnt much. i was born and raised in korea, and even most ppl here admit how unreal it is in an actual bout. that y i dont understand when westerners give tkd more credit than it deserves.
@ganjislammer Taekwondo is not only to think of like a martial art. its a very popular sport and a very enjoyable art to learn. not all people like the martial art side of it.
@SenseiGrove by my opinion i dont see any self control and discipline when i see teo guys trunk punching.
head punches doesnt make the match faster. boxing matches last longer than karate matches. in the other hand head punches make you more carefull instead of rushing in middle range immediately
@HermesDo if boxing matches had no gloves on it would be a completely different sport... of course this is a different sport than boxing, they cannot be compared. BTW... are you a martial artist? if so what style? if not, who are you anyway?
@HermesDo if boxing matches had no gloves on it would be a completely different sport... of course this is a different sport than boxing, they cannot be compared. BTW... are you a martial artist? if so what style? if not, who are you anyway?
@TheDiamond123123 dude, shut your face. I've seen plenty of vids of TKD guys beating Karatekas, and all other kinds as well. Also, doesn't matter how many sit ups you do, solar plexus shot will get ya' dropped. Quit being such a motard
there's no point arguing with fanboys it seems. If you would read any other comments I made in this video you would notice I'm not waving any karate flags.
I just pointed out how ridiculous those tkd fighters look in this video, almost pathetic compared to the karatekas, that's all. But I guess your fragile acrobat tkd soul got hurt, look I am SO sorry. I promise I will stand still not looking when you do your helicopter mega spinning ultra kick on me *yawn*
TKD guys are wearing too much protection!!!! so they cant fight against traditionals karatekas..we in karate are fighting with no protection, just for teeth we have, and we are fighting with bare hands, no gloves!!! and our body is very strong......and our hand kicks are stronger bcs we use makiwaras and bags for punching....and maybe TKD have stronger leg kicks, bcs they are practising just their legs....Oss-Osu!
I think the major problem with the TKD guy is that he is not trained for sparring without armor. TKD people who train for unarmored combat go through hard body training like those who know Kyokushin. BUT not many modern TKD practitioners do unarmored combat. That is why I, who currently takes TKD, also go through a mellow hard body training. Another thing is that he doesn't keep his guard up enough (I do the same thing).
I hate when people say Tae Kwon Do is nothing but kicks. TRUE TKD obtains its power from the marriage of hand and foot. Tae Kwon Do means "Way of the Hand and Foot" for a reason. I'm not saying its better than Karate. I've trained in Karate as well. In fact no martial art is initially superior to the others. Its all about the user and his ability use his strengths to execute his attacks with speed, strength, and accuracy. All though I will say that Tae Kwon Do has some of the best kicks ever.
martial art forms such kyokushin and shotokan practice hard body training. and when i mean hard i'm mean they condition all their strikes to the point where blocks are almost as painful as their strikes. TKD is effective bKyokushin may not look cool but very effective.
@heyitsalfe you are wrong....there are traditionals karatekas, and they must have veeeeeeeeery hard and fast punches, and body like stone...kyokushin and fudokan styles are all traditional.....they are the best styles, both combine gives okinawan old karate-do...but shotokan, wado-ryu and so on, are styles which is 80 percent sport karate and 20 percent is traditional karate for each style of karate.....Lyoto Machida UFC champion is traditional karateka as his father....and sport karate sucks!
congratulations you have just been promoted to white belt.

However, main biggest diff. is in the ratio b/w punch, kicks and grappling the whole system utilises. In which TKD uses mostly kicks.

this is the reason i've stopped TKD.

T'aegwondo is a martial sport, not a martial art.

Full contact martial art against sport TKD!?
fair play to the WTF guys holding out as long as they did but i must say, there kicks were quite weak :/
gav182 8 months ago
@gav182 its not like the TKD guy just magically showed up in the middle of a ring and forced to fight a kyokushin fighter.... he accepted the fight and did go in assuming he would win. it also depends on the person but TKD if he cant get you with spinning heel hooks, back kicks or head kicks chances are they lose. it demonstrated how TKD is weak in the punches/close range.TKD is is good to learn speed and flashy kicks, but over all you should not ignore the punches/power straights/hooks/uppercut
Jersm5 8 months ago
@Jersm5
we do not ignore the' punches/power straights/hooks/uppercut'?
WTF TKD does yes, in most clubs, but not ITF TKD, well not my club anyway....
and yes WTF is weak in close range, as you do not learn any of the knee strikes,leg kicks or punching techneques that u learn in ITF TKD.

@EcCena
I was talking about the TKD guys in this video as I have stated a houndred times below.
You saying that karatekas have big egos i s the same as someone saying ALL tkd practitioners are weak, you don't know that. And it's the complete opposite.
Like I said, i commented on this video.
TheDiamond123123 8 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 I don´t mean all Karatekas but a big part of the Karatekas I know have a big Ego but that´s ok you know I respect them and their Art
EcCena 8 months ago
@EcCena
TheDiamond123123 8 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 sorry my friend but I think you don´t understand my point... but I try to say it in a better way "I´m not talking about the Karatekas out there in the world just about some I personaly know!!!" you should read carefully. And I never said that they are egoistic, I said big Ego like in "hey I´m the best no one can beat me." cause some of my nice Karateka friends like to talk this way. I mean my friends man.
EcCena 8 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 And what allows you to say this fighter is bad he might lost but if he would be this bad he wouldn´t fight there and the people wouldn´t be watching. You should challange him and beat him to say something like that but even if you win you should respect the other person.
EcCena 8 months ago
@EcCena
because you're a fanboy and I'm not.
Maby your english is little bit "weak" that you can't get it?

you just don't understand my point. I only commented on this video. And in this videos the TKD guys were no match at all to the karatekas... their kicks and punches didn't hurt while the karatekas delivered piercing hits and kicks which were overwhelming. I commented on what I saw, which were comparison between these very karatekas and tkd fighters.
Just get it allready.

Johnny08000bcn 7 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 the TKD guys have a very techniques it's just this fighter who chose to do jumping kicks instead of keeping his defense up any other taekwondo student would fight using their flexibility to their advantage instead of going for the one hit strategy this guy's doing
ole0000002 7 months ago
@ole0000002
And I was talking about the tkd guys in this video particular, as I have stated... also, the tkd guys rope jumping is useless in fighting as well.
TheDiamond123123 7 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 not always if you notice when the TKD guy was doing all those jumps every one of his attacks hit the opponent the only downside is he couldn't keep his balance and kept falling down
but in general jumping kicks when used are very effective and powerful for the one hit knockout technique
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
if this were a real battle sittuation, those tkd practitioners would've just waisted there time and the fight would've ended in few seconds because they can't stand. They barely had any power behind their little show moves (which were mediocre to say the least). The karatekas show cased balance, focuse, accuracy and power... all of which the tkd guys lack.
It's pointless to talk about "usually, mostly, some tkd guys.." because I'm talking about this video right here.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 well in this video right here i would agree that the TKD guys aren't very good however the karate guys hardly show any balance they mostly stand there and go for a shot when they see an opening and i applaud them for it but if it were a real battle situation then the TKD guys would not fight like this (this fight indicates that it is a point sparring match) and we cannot know how powerful their kicks are just by looking at them they may look weak by they are much stronger
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 balance is defined as supporting your body by a smaller pinpointed area of your body such as ballet dancer's standing on the points of their toes
and it is very unlikely that the TKD guys broke a rib if they were they would have coughed blood as their intestines would have been punctured
also the TKD guys did not look tired if anything they were more energetic than the karate guys
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
yeah, that's why they fell down because of their primitive skills.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 their skill aren't primitive as i explained before the moves the use are basically the same as the karate guys and i don't blame them if they got tired they probably fought a number of hard battles before and continued after sustained heavy damage and im sure the karate guys did too which is probably why they stood still and solid but i admire the TKD guys for going the extra distance and pushing out such advance techniques they are not weak
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
probably this, probably that, would've, could've.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 the stances they used didn't belong just to TKD and karate it's widely used in all martial arts and if you ask me they bought fought carelessly making simple mistakes like kicking from the back leg and not keeping their hands up and yes they got hurt but that was because they had a poor defense it had nothing to do with their kicks which are effective and are not for showing off
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 when i was talking about stances i was referring to the karate guys stance
also those kicks do work this fighter just used it at the wrong time
and i highly doubt that the karate guys were well aware otherwise they would have kept their hands up
the TKD guys may have lost this fight but they are brilliant fighters
now that is proof inside of pudding for you(it even has syrup :p)

TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@ole0000002
if the tkd fighters are brilliant fighters, then the karatekas are THAT much better and more cunning... well after all they did crush the tkd fighters.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 i never said that the TKD guys won the point that im putting across is that they are not weak or unfit and the kicks are effective and not just for show
i am not a fanboy i just appreciate the martial arts and the effort their fighters put in to becoming better
i fully acknowledge the karate guys won and they deserve it but there is no such thing as a weak TKD fighter nor will there ever be
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
and how can you even say "they wouldn't fight like this if this were a real fight".... how would they fight then if this were a "real" fight? Would they fight like karatekas then?
*sigh*, sounds like fanboyism. Because i personally would bash the karatekas aswell if they showed such weak shape and power in this competition, but they were solid and superior compared to the tkd fighters, period.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago
@TheDiamond123123 i am not a fanboy i just have great respect for the martial arts and do not think one is better than the other they all have their strengths and weakness's
and as for your comment "how would they fight in a real fight? would they fight like a karatekas?" if you looked at all of the martial arts styles you would see they are not all that different they all retain the basic attacks and adapt it to suit themselves
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002 also it does not matter if they look weak as long as they have power behind their movements
bottom line all martial arts boil down to the same basic movements to call the TKD fighters weak is the same as calling the karate guys weak as well thus contradicting yourself
and with that
checkmate
ole0000002 6 months ago
@ole0000002
As it proved that way in this video.

ndileonardo 6 months ago
@ndileonardo
exactly this is what I'm trying to say.
TheDiamond123123 6 months ago

But I agree that it's silly to practise power punches only on the body, but punches to the face are forbidden unless you're in K-1. tkd and karate has almost the same rules. You can kick in the head but not punch.
