The media and teLIEvision shows Africa as this poor destitute country with skeleton looking starving children living in mud huts (now I do know that those poor villages exist, and they exist because of WHITE invasion : read "The Rape of Africa"), however, there are many MANY beautiful places in Africa with breathtaking scenery, fine foods, beaches, etc that is NEVER shown, therefore giving the ILLUSION that Africa is poor and on the flip side, blacks in the US are shown in Africa.....

I lived in Ghana twice and I didn't see the crap ignorance of poverty, starvation, diseases etc.

Once all of africa unites under thier OWN SYSTEM and not the U.S. or EUROPE led system so much the better. Get rid of the corruption, infighting and hatred, learn the skills and technology needed to control the resources and kick out those who are from the west trained economic schools. Hopefully all of africa would be peacefull and blessed like it was before the europeans came.

All africa needs to do is stop all the corruption, civil wars, religious confusion and division, and it will rise like no other. American media does a disservice to black people because they don't want us longing for our true home. Marcus Garvey tried to get us back to Africa but the CIA and FBI sabotaged his efforts. Never been to Africa before. Born and raised in America. But I would looove to go to Africa one day and explore and learn about my ancestors home. The culture that should have been preserved in Black Americans; however, is very sadly lost. Not because we don't want to know, but because a culture so rich and lavish was stolen and oppressed.

Very nice africa, want to visit so bad. just had a brother from america go to kenya and visit and he ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. He is encouraging other african americans to go to AFRICA because it is nothing like you see on tv; especially all the starving, disease,poverty, and fighting.
