@Photonicinduction Yeah we figured that out the hard way, that will be perfect for what we need I think... thanks very much for the tips I will make a new video soon when we get it all working and tidied up. With the charging of the battery, do you suggest just buying a cheapo trickle charger from ebay and having it controlled via the relay like you said?

I was just thinking, i would love to see a teardown of exactly whats inside a RCD/MCB/consumer unit or whatever the proper name is
