by the way, Mike, the translucent liquid which you are drinking in the video is the "coconut water". The "milk" is made when they mix the water with the meat. Coconut water is VERY healthy. It's packed with electrolytes (ex. potassium, calcium, choline, magnesium, etc. It is also known as "nature's Gatorade". Try drinking it after you exercise. It is also good for cleansing the skin and digestive systems. I drink one coconut per day for breakfast. Sometimes one for lunch and a hearty dinner.
Mike do you reside in Maui part of the year? Or simply vacation there.? Cool video although as you stated biggest problem was lack of tools. Still enjoyable to watch.
Coconut abuse. lmaoooo Whoever was one of the first people to crack a coconut to eat, had to have alot of patience. Wow Maui looks gorgeous. Put your toes in the sand for me. :p joking :)
Mike, here in Cambodia we use a well sharpened cleaver. The guys can carve out the core of the nut and poke a hole in the top in less than 10 slices. Buy a good quality cleaver and watch your fingers.
chainsaw anyone? :)

Coconuts are so good. I love them.
When i was in Thailand, i found wild coconuts, and i drank the water and the meat. It was amazing!
