That's true. In order to get rid of hemorrhoids is not to eat solid foods for several days until the hemorrhoids go away. I had it for a whole moth but i didn't know what they were. All i knew is that whenever i had to go it would bleed and burn like hell. I would have to take a bath and clean the hemorrhoids for further infections. then i thought not to eat solid food for a whole week and it began to go away. I would also apply ointment on it as well.

This doesn't work. One of the ways to heal is to NOT have a bowel movement for a few days so your tearing fissures can heal, then apply ointment. I had numerous smooth bowel movements without straining and still had pain and bleeding.

I went for surgery many years ago, it was very painful indeed. For temporal relieve, you may wish to place warm water (the hotter the better)in a portable basin and submerge the affected area under the water. It helps.

the pain is so big that you don't have time to think about embarrassement..lol. Don't do the surgery. It hurts and they will come back. There is a procedure that I just found out that they tigh a rubber band around them and in a matter of days they will fall off. No pain, no high cost and the effects are better :)
