That's exactly how my Meiko is. She makes these awful noises and people panic but shes wagging her tail the entire time. You should see two female Shibas playing together they look like a vicious fox fight with demon noises but with constant tail wagging

That wasn't aggression really, my shiba is very aggressive and attacks and tries to kill any animal that comes near him. Thankfully hes fine with people, but nothing is freakier than having a little old shiba that tries to kill horses. Lol yours looks very stubborn, welcome to the world of owning a shiba! @DriftCrazy, not really they are quiet dogs for the most part. My dog made moaning and howling noises, occasionally would bark at a dog walking by the house, but thats it.
