I have no idea as to how gren taxation will work in the US, but in Europe it's to replace other taxes, not be an additional tax altogether. And it's also largely based on your lifestyle... want a fuel guzzling car that spews out high levels of CO2? You'll pay a hefty tax for that. You have alternatives: something smaller and cleaner for the environment. Pay less tax. It's not being forced on you, it's your choice, but without a tax many ignorant of these issues would continue as usual

CO2 is carbon dioxide. Plants need it to live as we need plants as they exhale Oxygen. CO2 is harmless. You should be concerned about Carbon Monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, benzene, and formaldehyde. Carbon dioxide is what makes your CocaCola bubbly. The poison in Coke is the high fructose corn syrup, not CO2.

We have monitored the Polar Bear population for yrs now. It is higher now than when we began monitoring. There is also more forest land then the 1600s withing the US. Zaggers77- You must question what you are being told. Do some research yourself and see that the earth is actually cooling. Also, ask yourself what is to be gained by the elite governments upon the signing of this treaty and what the citizens will lose.
