i played AAA as a golaie and i could skate backwards faster than i could forwards. is that wierd?

@rc8rsracer no it is possible to go faster going backwards but not many people try to go as fast as they do forwards just what i've been told from my coaches :)

USA Hockey Rules for Coaching is that ALL Players and Coaches Must be wearing a helmet on Ice. I think that your GREAT Drills should include this element for the sake of the Kids. My Kids always try to come on the ice without a helmet strapped on, I constantly tell them to snap it up.

it's not the skate, it's how he digs his edges into the ice. He pushes really hard and that makes noise. Also, sometimes harden steel blades will make different sound, but this is not the case.

Yes they do, but if you look at many players, even in the NHL, they still have many skating technic issues.

Being naturally slow doesn't really exists; you can be the Pavel Bure of your league if you get the technic right. People don't understand how simple it is to be a better player in every sport.

Something as stupid as having your stick 1/2'' too short or too long can change your game totally or as simple as getting your head up can make you look like Gretzky. But, you need to know it 1st.

yeah , but i broke my reebok 10 k in a hockey tournament in april , so i had to goto the nearest mall i could find to get a cheap stick and i thought that easton wooden stick would do , and do i ever have an amazing slapshot with that stick .
