There's nothing like playing old games how their meant to be played :')

Putting a cartridge in the slot, holding a controller... playing from a static old RF switch...

Well said minus the RF part although I used to have to use that.

That's the best way I remember playing the NES. After that, I started using an extra long AV cord. Sometimes I have to use the very same RF from 1998 to play it.

i'm very familiar with the how a real NES looks, despite it being released before i was born. i got one from my aunt in like 2003.

i've played a lot of SNES games with emulators though, since that's essentially the only nintendo console i've never owned a real version of, ZSNES is basically the first emulator i've had. super nintendo had a lot of awesome games.

I would call it enhancer or editor, too, since you can also make a game harder! One hit deaths for example!

I love the SNES, my favorite game is EarthBound, it cost me quite a pretty penny because I got the Player's Guide and the box with it.

That's a very rare game, I don't think I've ever seen it sold in games shops.

Yeah, I had to get it on eBay because I couldn't find it in game stores, pawn shops, garage sales, pretty much everywhere but online.

Well, here a lot of places have stopped selling older games systems and when they do the NES is very expensive.

Most all of the places here have stopped selling games that are Nintendo 64 and older. There's only one place I know of that sells them anymore, but they are quite pricey, especially the NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64 games.

Oh right. There's one place I know and they aren't too expensive except that they sell an Xbox (original) for a similar price to a much older games machine.

I also have a NES, which my dad bought for me now in october for my 15th birthday. It feels good to have an "oldschool" gaming console. I have never even owned a TV console. I like to play old games. I was born in 1994, so i basically missed the whole ninetys. Damnit. I only remember from 2000 upwards.
