  • Allah the one created the Sun knows everything

  • Questions like this only accure when You take everything literally and don't give one of the greatest books of world-litrature the credit that it can have several levels and is open to metaphorical speach. And yes there are also Muslims, who see it like that. For proper interpretation of the Holy Quran: go to alislam.org and then to Quran and then to English 5 Vol Tafsir. That will be the link for all Your "questions".

  • @truthwillwin3 "and don't give one of the greatest books of world-litrature the credit that it can have several levels "

And what book would that be?

Also, you'll notice that things are only interpreted as literary or metaphorical when they've been proved false. In the end, every single part of religious literature will be.

  • bad translation , now convert!

  • Cmon really.. Tough question eh?

    NEXT!

  • @TheChosenBlud If it wasn't a tough question you'd have an answer now wouldn't you? Yet you don't.

  • Very easy for knowledgeable muslims to answer this question. Watch this video

Does the Sun Set in a Muddy Pool? - Quran: Surah al-Kahf 18:86

The Quran is Gods word so how can there be scientific errors. Stop trying to point out false errors and start looking at the scientific facts mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago before they were discovered. Also look at the challenge it gives to the unbelievers. Have you even read the Quran?

  • te biggest give away to thi virse howing its not a mistake in the lest bit is apperd to..

if something appers to someoen as a mahraj. what ever it might be it dosnt meen theres an accal thing a mahraj but apperd to.. hve you seen the video in yur video responses by dr zakir naik. if not then you do need to see it my friend a it examples it clearly

  • wow dude, if you actually took a few minutes of your time out you did find the answer yourself. Difficult Question?? HAHAHahahaha no not really.

  • This was, (pardon my language) ... PATHETIC. Not a tough question at all, more of a disappointing lack of understanding on your part and possibly a really bad translation of the quran into English.

Seriously... this is the best you could do?

  • this telling what the man saw, the man saw the sun set, this spring is wher ehwas following a road, he stopped at a spring, HUGE SPRING IN A TOWN, a tonw by the huge springs, and when he arrived at this town he looked and saw the sun setting, this isnt talking about islam, allah is telling us what man saw, it teaches us if man believes what he sees and not with his mind, he will never proggress

  • Weak argument not worth responding to. Sorry..

  • But since you say you are a truth seeker, then why did you choose to deny the many amazing scientific miracles/signs in the Quran easily found on the net with just a short statement from your side, and insist on understanging a verse by taking the literal meaning. when people are telling you its from the person's perspective.

  • There's a really in depth analysis of the alternative theories for what these verses on the setting & rising places of the sun mean (especially regarding the Arabic words) on the quranspotlight website.

  • silly question.sun does not set.it is a linguist term.

  • islam the fastest growing religion?

more than 1 thousand years had passed since the creation of islam, why it's stil can't over take christian..?

  • It is not a tough question for a scholar. It is a tough question for the layman such as yourself and myself. The example you used represents your level of flat thinking, which you assume that all others hold the same limitations on their thinking.

  • ask this question to dr.Zakir Naik, i think he already answered a similar one!

  • The sun does not set the earth is turning on its own axis and rotating around the sun as mentioned in the Quran. If you look out into the water from a beach it seems as it is setting in the water. But its not. He is going to a place where it APPEARS as the sun setting in muddy water.

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 Lol! You ridiculous thing! Now, you guys are claiming that book stated the earth goes round the sun? Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! What about the flat earth with mountains keeipng it down like a carpet verse? Are you going to now claim that actually means the earth is a globe? Lol! Ridiculous!

  • @EarlRegent ok lol. The verse statses mountains are like pegs in the ground. If you look how mountains are built in the ground they are like pegs/wedges in the ground. The Quran states everything has its own orbit. Quran(21:33) (36:40) (91:1-2) (14:33)(13:2)

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 Oh spare me please! It's like talking to a 5 year old. You should be cursing this muhmmad for what has done to Arabia and other in Asian,

  • @EarlRegent No Muhammad was labeled the greatest men on earth by famous non Muslims even a famouse atheist named Micheal Hart. Lamartine quotes "Is there any man greater than he". What Muhammad has done is negative, why did the roman king say "i would wash his feet with my own hands". Japan is a nation of intellgent people. And there are alot of japanese converts. Same with south Korea. If people are converting he must've done something right.

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 Oh you poor fool! Converting means nothing. Which version of history are you bloody talking about? Fantasy-land history? People convert to Hinduism and other faiths all the time. That means nothing whatsoever. Islam is a fraud and you should stop wasting your life following a child molesting, caravan raiding, megalomaniacal, bronze aged, misogynist, opportunistic, gold digging, pathological liar!

  • @EarlRegent You can believe what you want truth stands clear from error. but doesnt mean you should be ignorant and dmonize other people's religion.

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 misogynistic I meant.

  • @EarlRegent Muhammad didnt hate women

  • @EarlRegent Btw you mean "others in Asian" not "other in Asian" I happen to be Asian. I am Muslim My uncle is a Physics professor in America. My father was also a college professor. My uncle has been brought closer to Islam by science.

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 So, your argument begins with a typing error I made in my haste to respond to your asinine comments? Lol! Look, you silly people; if there is any credible science in any religion then the scientific community would jump at it. Use your bloody common sense. Your father's emotional need to defer to an imagined higher power has no doubt influenced his conclusions. BTW I AM AN EX MUSLIM!

  • @EarlRegent Prove to me you are an ex-muslim. if you are an ex-muslim you were probalby not a good muslim in the first place.

  • @BatmanbinSuperman12 Oh brother! I hope you find the light like I have. Watching animals being slaughtered while I was young was the beginning of my disgust with this religion. Read, explore, self examine and hopefully one day you will find the courage to be free from this evil religion. No more messages please. Take care and I wish you well.

  • @EarlRegent If we didnt slaughter animals were would we get meat? We try slaughter so they dont feel pain. You were young. I read hadith and Quran every day. I examine fy faith everyday. This religion is nto evil. I got closer by studying it. Assalamualaikum brother.

  • Answer to this question can be found at this link:

    watch?v=n8R2rVgD2ok

It was brought up by Dr. Campbell in his debate against Dr. Zakir Naik.

  • Is it just me or nobody can turns off the light of Islam ? Lol .. Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth .. people has to know that islam is not only a religion .. islam is a complete way of life ... chears

  • @simpleguy4928 Statistics show that "no religion" is growing incredibly fast too.

You do realise there are other ways of life too, y'know?

  • i am a muslim and let me tell you that what the muslims said at the beginning where they said that allah will hurt you is false. god will not do these things for asking questions

  • talk to muslims in afghanistan. they think the world is still flat. idiotic religion, religion and culture.

  • @CDNmuslimkiller no they dont.

  • @CDNmuslimkiller hhaaha youre ignorant cuz the best astronomers who made great discoveries were muslims, and a muslim discovered the telescope! in quran its says God has made the earth to appear flat to humans, and not that the earth actually was flat, but similar to an ostrich egg.

  • @skillful101 No, YOU'RE ignorant. Aristotle, based on Plato's work, put forward the round-earth theory long before the Quran was written, long before Galileo went against the Catholic church for it, and long before any muslim astronomers were even born.

And you don't "discover" the telescope, you "invent" the telescope. And a quick google says that the first 'practical' telescopes were actually invented by the Dutch in the 1600s.

    STOP LYING, MUSLIMS.

  • omg,,, u pathetic creature

  • omg,,, u pathetic creature

  • another example, you live in california, you run west during sunset, you reach the ocean, the sun lookes like its setting in the pacific ocean.

I can say my cheeks are red tomatoes, you have to understand it from what it is saying, not what it isn't , by the way your story was not parallel at all, tis shows that you can't illustrate parallel,s columbus's tmie teh earth was beleived to be flat, however he knew its was round, which proves other ppl's intellect were at fault not the facts.

  • @hbk711x

SO you found it setting in the ocean! Duh!! You choose to be ignorant.

ONce again my video by dawah addict, watch it.

  • He said he followed it to a place, like i followed the sun set over a bridge, there is a bridge where the sun sets in my area because I live on an island in NEW YORK.

Like one follows teh north star north until its goes away!!!

He followed it west, what is so hard to understand!!!

Life adn death, ask about that, watch my video by Dawah ADDict on my favorites!

  • @hbk711x

He followed the sun wesst for example, meaning he followed it to a setting place, I was giving an example, in its direction of setting*

  • The Arabic word used in Ch:18 V:86, which you qouted, is "Wajadah" which means 'it appeared'. That means IT APPEARED to Zulqarnain that the sun was setting in a murky spring... If I say that a person said that 2+2=5, then you will blame me, O he said 2+2=5... I didn't say that; that person said it. So the Quran is not wrong, it just showed in indirect narration about what Zulqarnain said or thought...

  • good question, the verse says - Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."

when I see the sun rise in the morning it comes out of the roof top of this guys house across the street and it sets in the house on the other side, well it appears that way. for some people sun might set in the sea or in the woodland

  • the verses can be translated in many ways also like the following

    Al Kahf 18:86

Until when he reached the placed where the sunset he found it going down into a Black Sea and found by it a people we said Zulqarnain! Either give them a chastisement or do them a benifit

it clearly states that he was viewing the sunset over the Black Sea (how come you didn't mention this) and the people were gathered around the sea

    BTW it wasn't a TQFM

  • come on dude u just wanna be famous, stop this bullshit u know urself there is only 1 god and rest is prophets ;) you people who thinks jesus is god even that jesus prays and u all know that... soooo whom he is prayin to?

  • is that all what you got against ISLAM ?

by the way are you a man of your word?

if I'll show you that would become a muslim?

    reply me for that.

    p.s.

    I am serious

  • @AL3AJEB dude he doesnt even read the comment, just send him a message

  • This guy is doing great job, AM a Muslim And am poud of being Muslim, and I believe in every word in Quran & it's well known that many verses are to be taken metaphorically... This is something we Arabs understand, like saying once in every blue moon I may check your videos! lol does not mean actually blue moon , ma friends live where God says welcome! That is in the 30's floor on that skyscraper, gimme a break here dude

  • dumbass It says he FOLLOWED!! at that time the sun setted in ONE PLACE not two... so THERE WAS a setting place FOR THAT DAY

  • @girlabc4

Isaiah 40:21-22 It is he who is seated over the CIRCLE of the earth, and the people in it are as small as locusts; by him the heavens are stretched out like an arch, and made ready like a tent for a living-place.

YOU SEE THE BIBLE SAYS IT CLEARLY THAT IT IS A CIRCLE AND LONG BEFORE THE QURAN WHO MENTIONS "A PLACE WHERE THE SUN SETS", 18:83-90

Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hanged the earth upon nothing.

    THE EARTH HANGS ON NOTHING

  • MUSLIMS LOVE TO EXPLAIN AWAY EVERY STUPIDITY IN THE QURAN. THE QURAN MENTIONS THE 7 HEAVENS, 41:12, 67:5 BECAUSE IT WAS THE PTOLEMAIC MODEL AND VISION OF THE UNIVERS THAT PREVAILED DURING MUHAMMED'S TIME. BUT THIS MODEL HAS BEEN PROVED WRONG FOR CENTURIES. IT WAS BELIEVED THAT EVERY MOVING BODY IN THE SKY HAD A HEAVEN AND THE EARTH WAS THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE: SUN , MERCURY, VENUS, MOON, MARS, JUPITER, SATURN = 7. 67:5 TELLS US ALSO "THAT STARS ARE MISSILES TO SHOOT THE DEVIL". HOW STUPID!

  • @DictaduraNo123

AND WHAT DOES UR "BIBLE" SAY??!! .... THE EARTH IS NOT FLAT

Yet these verses in ur so called Bible indicate that the Earth must either be flat, square or rectangle!

Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

    THE EARTH ROTATES!!

Psalms 104:5 The Earth is firmly fixed; it shall not be moved.

  • @girlabc FIRST, I'M NOT CHRISITAN NOR RELIGIOUS. BUT IF THE BIBLE WAS WRONG DOES THAT GIVE THE QURAN THE RIGHT TO BE WRONG TOO? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. THE QURAN SHOULD BE BETTER BECAUSE IT IS MORE RECENT BUT IT DESCRIBES THE EARTH AS FLAT AND IT TALKS ABOUT 7 HEAVENS, AN OLD FALSE BELIEF THAT HAS BEEN PROVED WRONG FOR CENTURIES, 41:12. BUT YOU ARE WRONG,THE 4 CORNERS DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE EARTH IS FLAT. IT IS JUST AN EXPRESSION TO SAY EVERYWHERE. THIRD, THE BIBLE SAYS 'THAT THE EARTH IS ROUND'

  • Hey, I'm a Mooslim and when the Quran says 'the sun set in a muddy spring' really refers to giving the okay for anal sex. I hope this clears things up for you infidels. Praise Allah!

  • u must be very stupid from what i'm hearing. Obviously the sun does not set physically on earth on anything like that. The sun setting at the murky water is to describe what appears to dhul qarnain but does not literally mean the sun setting at anyplace. Take for example, i was walking down the road and the sun appeared to men that it sets at a murky water. Murky water could refer to the sea horizon or whatever it is. NOT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND!!!

  • @imrkha1, You don't have to get rude because your unscientific Qur'an is a disgrace. I gave a certain Muslim a bunch of scientific errors from your Qur'an just like this & finally he said:

"The quran is first of all a book of SIGNS not SCIENCE, therefore what we read is what we would expect as assign"

The Qur'an does not side with truth so you make up any interpretation about it's obvious errors and hatred (Jihad) as a ridiculous excuse. Even Hamas leader's son said so:

    watch?v=VnwdmBXC2b8

  • @imrkha1 Another pathetic excuse for the rubbish in the quran!,,,any high school kid could improve the quran!

  • @MrMUHAMMADFUCKEDAKID yeah well any high school kid can do that but the greatest scholars can't. I wonder how kids are taught at your country.

  • @TheDrizzy29 Scolars of imaginary subjects are hardly scholars, evidence is not required to support a belief so accuracy of data is irrelevant.

  • @MrMUHAMMADFUCKEDAKID Scolars who of imaginary subjects who wanted to prove the Quran wrong. (None succeeded) by the way the translated versions are very different if u could read arabic im sure ull understand

  • @imrkha1 ikr even the greatest scholars tried to prove the quran wrong but they couldnt. Do you actually think that this lame pathetic loser who doesn't have anything to do in his life can prove that the smartest men on earth were wrong in stating that the quran is perfect?

  • 18:47

And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a LEVELLED PLAIN, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind.

    20:53

Who has made earth for you LIKE A BED (SPREAD OUT); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation.

THE QURAN DESCRIBE THE EARTH AS FLAT

  • 43:10 Who has made for you the earth LIKE A BED, and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way

78:6 Have We not made the earth as A BED

79:30 And after that He SPREAD the earth

18:90 Until, when he came to the RISING PLACE OF THE SUN, he found it rising on a people for whom We (Allâh) had provided no shelter against the sun

ACCORDING TO THE QURAN THE EARTH IS FLAT "LIKE A BED", "SPREAD" AND "THERE IS A PLACE WHERE THE SUN RISES"

  • @DictaduraNo123 ill check

  • /watch?v=vwAYZjSvcpM&feature=feedrec_grec_index

copy this link write youtube com b4 it and watch the video... and u will have ur answer.... name of the video is Does the sun set in murky water? What does the Quran say? by Dr.zakir naik....

watch it and ur question will be answered

  • @Altair1161 Zakir is a lier.

  • ok muslims who is the sister of Aaron as the surah mariam? marry? but which marry? jesus mother? or musa's sister? i think they were mixed up

  • ...Sahih Muslim book1 no.297 "…Do you know where the sun goes? […] Rise up and go to the place whence you came, and it goes back and continues emerging out from its rising place […] Rise up and emerge out from the place of your setting, and it will rise from the place of its setting…"

In the arabic it literally has, “mina matli'iha” translated as “from its rising place”, “mina maghribiki” as “from the place of your setting”. People can judge the significance for themselves.

  • @ahmadov This idea about furthest place where you can go to see the sun set or rise was resorted to by Qurtubi etc. because the Muslims learned later from Greek knowledge that the original understanding of the verse was incompatible with science. I've not seen evidence those words were ever used earlier in that way. On the other hand there are sahih hadith like the following...

  • @ahmadov I understand what you mean, Muslims only accept sahih hadith. I don't expect any muslim to be convinced by this, but there are curious non-muslim watchers too who might want to take account of all evidence. I mentioned the poetry, Alexander Legend and the other hadith (even if not authentically Muhammad's words, still shows popular conceptions) since it looks suspiciously like the Quran contains this same legend and people can judge for themselves.

  • @anjelbio maghrib can mean west as you say, and shourouk can mean east, but 18:90 does not use shourouk (or sharq or mashriq). 18:90 uses matli'a ash-shamsi. When were those words ever used to mean east? Not in the Quran, not in the hadith. In the hadith it means literally the rising place of the sun.

  • @newjourney7 the word east in arabic is "sharq" taken from it or the opposite is "mashreq" which means the rising place.matlia comes from "tala'a" which means came out so matlia means the place where a "specified" thing comes out.so it can be used to specify the place where the sun rises. again it can mean the place where we see the sun rising as we Arabs use rise of the sun until this day although it doesn't really happen but this is how we describe it.

  • man , whene you sed the sun set in arabic language it dosen't mean that the sen set , it's mean where the sen goes away we call it ( the maghrib ) ( the est ans the ouest ) and whene the sen rise we call it ( the shourouk ) ( the ouest ) review your resourses

  • U gotta try better than that. Quran states that the sun moon n the earth are placed in orbits and paths. Logic tells us if there is an orbit involved. Goin underground doesn't count as an orbit. Secondly if u keep reading the verses it clearly states zulqurnain followed another path untill he saw sun rising on another community. If sun had set in it's place shudnt if rise from where it set . U clearly have a bias against islam. If h didn't u coulda kept reading on and realized the verbiage bein

  • Belive me there is no tough question that Islam can not answer. Islam has the answer to the human problem.

Watch the link and clear up your misconception:

Does the Noble Qur'an says the sun sets in murky water??? by Dr Zakir Naik

  • Belive me there is not no tough question that Islam can not answer. Islam has the answer to the answer to human problem.

Watch the link and clear up your misconception:

Does the Noble Qur'an says the sun sets in murky water??? by Dr Zakir Naik

  • Tabari vol 5 p.173-4 quotes Tubba king of Yemen: "Dhu al-Qarnayn before me submitted himself [to God], a king to whom the other kings became humble and thronged [his court]. He reigned over the Eastern and Western lands, yet sought the means of knowledge from a wise, rightly guided scholar. He witnessed the setting of the sun in its resting place into a pool of black and foetid slime." Tabari also has a long hadith in vol 1. p.232-8 It was a well known legend Muhammad copied from.

  • @newjourney7 u cant just use hadiths against us my friends, because some of them are rejected. what u qouted here is what a king said not prophet mohammad. so why should we care? hadith is something said by the prophet not a man, u got me

  • th

  • Qur'an 18/86: "Until, when he reached the far west he saw the sunset on a hot spring of water which has a black clay, and he found near it a people" Probably it is Yellowstone Lake. I support this belief by how the lake looks like from the sky. I think the lake from air looks like a standing strong man (wearing two horns on his head) & pointing his shield towards the west or the sunset side. His name (Thoo al Qarnain) in Arabic means (the man of two horns) Visit wikipedia & see: Yellowstone Lake

  • Probably it is Yellowstone Lake because: 1. It is in the far west (north america) 2. It is large enough to see the sunset on it. 3. It is a spring of water because all or most of it's water comes from underground. 4. It has a hot water. 5. It has a black clay. 6. There was a people living near it for about 11,000 years. See (Yellowstone National Park) on wikipedia. 7. The lake from air looks like a standing strong man. 8. (wearing two horns on his head) 9. Pointing his shield towards the sunset

  • @anashkhss You seriously believe an iron age military leader crossed the Atlantic and delved far far far into the interior of North America?

  • @MsMrNoface Now, if sun is not geocentric since it compute of years of reckoning. How can "reached" can be meant physical arrive and not TIME? becoz "geocentric" can only be use if the sun really set and rise from muddy spring.

  • @mqintach I don't understand. Look up the sources I PM'd you. I can't find anyone who is claiming he reached the setting time of the sun. At best [for you] some of the translations leave it ambiguous, most of them say he reached the Place of the setting.

  • the answer is in your book, but you didn`t read the bible good,if you did so ,you would notice that the jewish day starts from the sunrise to the sunset when they fast or when their shabbath starts,so do the muslims when they fast ramadan or praying, the meanning here is the time not geoghraphic place.

  • "Until, when he reached the far west he saw the sunset on a hot spring of water which has a black clay, and he found near it a people". Probably it is Yellowstone Lake. I also support this belief by how the lake looks like from the sky. I believe that the lake from air looks like a standing strong man pointing his shield towards the west or the sunset side. Open wikipedia and see: Yellowstone Lake

  • 32 And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.).

33 And He it is Who has created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orbit floating.

  • This what the Quran is saying about the sun:

    21 -

30 Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

31 And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided.

  • @Azarosislam Now, u really confused me. In your video, u talked about how Quran describe how sun physically set in the murky water. and now u agree with us (muslim) about this visualize thing. and after that u posted so many verse with the word sun in it and there is not even a single of them is related to our argument. what are you trying to emphasized here?can u explain to me again, what are u trying to prove here?

  • @mqintach Man you are really confused you have mixed up between me and the video owner, iam an arab muslim so i know what the Quran is talking about in the verse. no one will ever find a mistake or an error in the Quran!!!

  • @Azarosislam owhhh...my bad, no wonder u seem to protect Quran. Sorry sorry. Btw, I am Malaysian Muslim. I don speak arabic, but still my research help me pretty much in defending Islam. hihi...peace upon u then. a'kum

  • @mqintach No problem my brother, i myself thought you were defending the vedio maker view :P

O Allah, show us the truth and guide us to follow and show us the wrong and avoid us from following it, AMEN

  • The Quran never said that the sun do physically set in a Muddy Spring, The Quran is saying that the guy visualize that the sun is setting in a Muddy Spring. So why it is bothering you :P Non of the Muslims since tha days of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) ever said that the sun set in a Muddy Spring. Be fair man!!!

  • Jobs 28

    24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;

    Jobs 37

3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

    Jobs 38

13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

what does end of the earth mean!!!

if your house is made of glass dont try to throw others with stone!!!

  • @Azarosislam >>cont: But,the Quran talking about muddy spring here not ocean.I know that many ancient people thought that earth is flat since from the look of it n by looking across the ocean like the sun really raise n set from there But I don think that even with the most ancient brain will ever think that sun can raise from a muddy spring like it was a hole there for sun to raise n set.Muhammad has wrote so many scientific facts in da Quran but suddenly he made such stupid mistakes?

  • The verse does not talk about the physical place where the sun set!!! it speaks about the sunset for his country the verse want to say that the guy has reached the far west of his land country.

I will tell you a short story of jack smith followed a road until he reached the setting place of the sun there he found the sun setting on the Pacific Ocean, what does that mean, it means he has reached the far west of America and stood in front of the ocean.

  • @Azarosislam Now,lets us pretend like balagha really is reaching a physical place. Now to be logical,If Muhammad really wrote Quran from his own word n not from god,do u really think that even with the most uneducated brain(not stupid) will ever think that sun will raise or set into a muddy spring? When we say muddy spring, its clear that it's not the end of earth. yes I do agree, it is possible for Muhammad to think that earth is flat n the ocean is the end of it since he is one uneducated person

  • If the guy really want's to understand the Quran to build a strong case against it, he should read a good tafsir, maybe 2. Then he can get a good understanding of how muslims and ancient Arabs understood the Quran.

  • This guy's logic isn't to good. It's like if you told an Arab that your friend with a broken heart. The Arab might imagine that your heart was literally broken. That doesn't mean that it's so. When your reading an ancient book written in a foreign language, it might be wise to learn the culture and language of that people.

All that means is that the guy followed the road until the sun set at a place on the horizon where there was water, and there he found a group of people.

  • Just go into Wikipedia and type flat earth. You will see that Muslim scholars have always argued that the earth is round. Your question sucks.

  • Questions for the CREATOR OF THIS VIDEO AGAIN CREATOR DON'T REPLY UNLESS YOUR THE CREATOR OK!!! Why do you guys waste time on videos like this? Why don't you guys just break the law and have fun if nothing will happen to you? Why do you guys get so offensive when we ask questions but when you do we don't gang up on you? why do you have to yell Atheist Unite? Why are there sea shells on Mt,Everest? Why did they find Noah's ark if it never happened? Why can't you see prophecy in the Bible?

  • @Historydude13

I know I'm not the creator, but I have a right to state my own opinion- As a side note I'm not an Atheist.

Atheists are all ganged up on, by all sorts of religious people that're always preaching to them about their own religion. But when an Atheist speaks about what he thinks, and his/her lack of religion, suddenly those religious preachers are appalled- because this man doesn't at all believe in God, the Bible, etc. It's just how things tend to go.

  • @mqintach Balagha is used primarily for reaching a place (not time) and when it means time it means reaching a personal milestone not a time of day. Balagha can only mean to reach a place in the exact same introductory phrase in 18:93. Search google for quranspotlight and read the main article. It debunks all those sorts of false arguments. There's no longer any reasonable way to deny the clear and obvious interpretation that zulqarnain went to the places where the sun physically sets and rises.

  • @newjourney7 Buddy, why do u argued with me. my answer was to defend Islam here

  • @mqintach Defending beliefs is childish.

  • @newjourney7 Now plss compare your answer from QuranSpotlght with my answer in answeringChristianity. U can do it by google "answering Christianity sunset sunrise". They have explanations of each words used in that verse. but since u argued with this "balagha" thing... u can refers to (balagha" is metaphoric and "yudrik" is literal) part. and u can see the word yudrik is the right word to use to describe reaching a personal milestone.

  • @newjourney7 u are right in that the balagha means reaching a place.but magreb can mean the place where the sun is seen setting as we use the term until today. so let me give u the interpretation used by most interpreters. and a clue from quran, although i will give u the later later on.the interpreters said that it is the farthest place in land where u can see the sun setting, from that place it seems to u ,as a human, that the sun is setting in this pond or something.got it

  • questions is the way to start but if you already have you mind made about how to take the information it beats the purpose for getting an anwer keep a sincere mind set

  • when I speak on the nonexistence of God, I refer to the god of Abraham so not to fall into that same trap... one god covers all three!

  • Yeah your right. If allah is so big and great, It looks like he could at least bless his own people. How come they live in such a desalent place? They live in such a rich country and yet they all live like they don't have enough food or just the bacis of life.It seems like allah doesn't take good care of his own people. Why would i want him to take care of me?

  • Hi there :)

I am a muslim and I was really confused with this story even before I saw your video, I did my research and I found the explanation that satisfied me. God or Allah did not say that the sun sets in a muddy spring, but that's the way it appeared to Thu Al Qarnain, the way he saw it. If you go to the sea at sunset time the sun will appear like it is going down in the sea. If you see the reflection of the moon in a well, It doesn't mean that the moon is really there.

    PEACE!

  • @fahdosh:

When I answered your other question, I didn't realise that you were gay.

    Isn't islam fun?

  • thatsa lie lol . i wish you can do like what jesus Christ said PBUH - love your enemys . why dont you try it please ? :D

  • And finally xD: But I can see how you were able to develop a negative view on islam when the muslims you know would threaten you by saying that Allah will attack your family and such lol. Either they're stupid or extremely mislead about Islam. Tell them that Allah encourages discovering the truth and not just believing in things blindly (The people that blindly followed their ancestor's religions are the people that Islam was opposing when Mohammed first started spreading his message).

  • @dxbblackwolf Look at the history of Islam. Fear is not unwarranted. Mohammed himself was leader of an army that attacked and conquered. Mohammed only gave you his word he was a prophet yet look at him. He had 11 wives a CHILD bride who was only nine and invaded other peopole's countries notably homes of the Jews such as Arabia and Jarusalem. There are many verses in your "Holy" book that go along the lines of dominate the world for Islam behead the unbelievers so on and so forth. Yours is a

  • @Alexplus20 You expect me to take you seriously when most of what you say is either wrong or misunderstood. I can't explain the misunderstood parts to stubborn people like you who aren't willing to understand and think they understand Islam better than the Muslims themselves. As for the wrong parts, Mohamed didn't start a single war and all his fights were self-defense. The only war he started was against Makka after they broke the peace treaty and attacked a Muslim territory.

  • @dxbblackwolf Let me see how much do you know about the conquest of Arabia? It was the first country taken over by Mohammed. The Jews there were then later kicked out of their homes there. Mohammed himself was leader of an army. Ignorance and bigotry is bliss.

  • @Alexplus20 Jews weren't kicked out of there houses. Read about how jews were treated in Madina, Islam never forced anyone against their religion or developed any sort of hatred because of it.

  • @Alexplus20 Palestine wasn't conquered by Mohamed, and Arabia wasn't the home of jews either (Even though it did have jews in some parts that Mohamed respected). Get your facts straight and don't just go looking for information that is forcefully misunderstood just to keep developing your negative view on Islam you ignorant nimrod.

  • @dxbblackwolf Jews lived there never said it was exclusively Jewish. They were at first removed to the southern ares of the country and then later expelled outright. Palestine was invaded and conquered along with Jordan Syria Afghanistan and present day Israel and Jarusalem. You going to lie about this as well? Oh and before you say to anyone to do some research when you yourself know nothing why not look up forced conversioins under Islam? You are an ignorant bigot.

  • @Alexplus20 I know about the conquest but you claim that Mohamed is the one that led it and I disagree. And if there were any forced conversions under islam then they're not really Muslims. Islam is against forced conversions and go look that up yourself.

  • @Alexplus20 Jews were never treated badly by Mohamed and not by muslims later on as far as for the 4 people that came after him. Many muslims are against the conquest, and a bigger area were turned to muslim territories through merchants that were traveling and tought other people about Islam rather than war.

  • @Alexplus20 Anyways I got to go now and I dont want to continue this conversation anyways since I know that people like you are extremely stubborn about there own opinion. Just please try to have a more open mind towards Islam is all I can ask.

  • @dxbblackwolf People like me? I bet you can't find a single good example of a good deed done by a Muslim country in the last 50 years. Jews were labelled as Dhimis and had to wear robes and pay higher taxes than the Muslims squatting in their city. But of course yoou probably think thats a good thing due to your incredible ignorance and bigotry. Mohammed himself was leader of an army and a warlord what does that tell you about your so called religeon of peace? Run away from the facts then coward

  • @Alexplus20 Run away from the facts. You just said that muslims kicked jews out of there house and now you changed your mind. Muslims were the stronger power in that city back then, so its only fair that the jews pay taxes since they're not going to contribute towards the political and military power of Madina.

  • @Alexplus20 All the muslims also had an obligation towards there country, it just wasnt tax, and you should understand that muslims cant force jews to do what the muslims did towards the country themselves since its related to god. And then, you return to the point of Mohamed being a war leader which I just explained against in my previous comments, if you're even reading them.

  • @Alexplus20 You can't see a good deed done by a muslim because muslims are weak, its almost impossible to find a leader in the middle east who excels at anything except sucking the US's dick. It isn't easy to start developing knowledge right now where almost all muslim countries are still developing. There are muslims that have accomplished things after having studying abroad, but sadly, their original country doesnt get the credit.

  • @dxbblackwolf Muslims kicked the Jews out of Arabia and oppressed them in Jarusalem these are repeated facts. If I were to go to Iraq with my army take it over and force you to wear robes and pay higher taxes than the my invading army how would you feel? Accomplishments? Like in egypt where the Arabs are taking over the country 100 murders and 60 rapes is that an achievement by Muslims to you? Mohammed was a warlord how is it even possible to misinterpret that? Fucking idiot.

  • @Alexplus20 What saddens me is that you have to relate everything to the religion. Islam has nothing to do with whats happening in egypt. Egypt and many other arab countries have corrupted leadership due to the counties being oppressed by the United States. Like I said, we're weak.

  • @dxbblackwolf Egypt Sudan Iran Iraq are not secular states they are and heredity the key word ISLAMIC states. What they to minorities is because of Islam. Sharia law is Islamic religious law. All they do can be related to their religion. Case and point. Forgive me if I dont believe your its all Americas fault argument its overused and pathetic .

  • @Alexplus20 Please show me where the Sharia states that Islamic leadership should be hereditary? On the contrary, Islam believes in shoora or however its spelled in English, which is just another form of democracy. Like I said, it saddens me that you relate everything muslims do to their religion. For example, I dont accuse christians of believing in murder or rape just because it occurs in a christian country.

  • @dxbblackwolf ill make this really easy for you. Egypt Sudan Iran and Iraq are all Muslim countries. Their laws are based on Sharia which is Muslim Sharia law and includes the hudud ordinance and the hanging of gays. Sharia is Islamic religious law. Key word is religious. What they do is because of Islam. It is that simple to understand. Rape occurs on large scale in muslim countries as well bigot. 60 rapes during the Egypt protests alone. I'm not going to bother going on and on seeing as you

  • @Alexplus20 Muslim countries do not abide by sharia laws completely. My point was that dictatorship is not a muslim belief, and that is what is mostly ruining those countries. Egypt is full of corruption since it is a very poor country with the ratio of people living in it, rape is against Islam law as well. Rape in muslim countries occurs at a lesser rate than non-muslim countries, you are only talking about the corrupted muslim countries.

  • @dxbblackwolf you are beyond an idiot to think crime doesn't not happen in Muslim countries and is exclusive to the west. Truly trio stupid. All Muslim countries are sick Egypt Iran Iraq Afghanistan look at them all they are living in pseudo 7th century fashion. Keep on loving in your fantasy world about misinterpreted Islam noone cares. All terrorism can be traced back to Muslims funny huh? Or are you going to deny this as well.

  • @Alexplus20 You are the idiot for making conclusions that I didn't even say. I didnt say that crime is exclusive to the west, I was saying that you are implying that crime is only exclusive to the muslims. All the terrorists out there are idiots, not muslims, and that is something that I am certain of, as a muslim.

  • @dxbblackwolf what religion were the ones who carried out 9/11 7/7 the Munich atrocity against Jews Mumbai massacre and the Bali shootings? That's right all were Muslim. Funny isn't it? Only Muslims cut peoples heads off limbs off stone people to death hang gays in public and have as their shining example a maniac who led an army had 11 wives fucked kids stoned people to death and had apostates murdered. Only Muslims. Your society is rank and putrid and stinks of 7th century barbarism.

  • @Alexplus20 Who killed more than two million people for the past three decade in Afghanistan and who killed more then 1 million people in Iraq ? the weapon and many used to come to Afghanistan directly, from America in order to win war from Russia .who killed more than 6 million Jews? all of them were killed by Christians.Muhammed wasnt married to 11 wives so I would request you to do your home work properly,

  • @MegaKabuljan You talk about crimes? Look at the many crimes of the islamic Empire before you make such a bigoted statement. Killed by Chrstians? look up the Islamification of Palestine Syria Jordan and Afghanistan and find out what the leaders of the islamic fake Empire did to the Jews. MOhammed had in his life 11 wives including a nine year old CHILD bride. Stop being bigoted and pretensious.

  • @Alexplus20 I dont know what you talking about. If you check the world map from 19 centuries Israil do not exist in Palastian and what dose Palastian have that you guys are so scared of whearse Israil is the Fisrt power in the middle east.Israil's Army has gone to Syria so do they [Syrias]have the right of SELF DEFENCE ?you don't need to talk about Afghanistan cos I am from there and I know everything about it.Those who fight in Afghanistan are fighting for Dollar .Please refer to next commen.

  • @MegaKabuljan listen to yourself you self righteous fool. Americans are fighting for Dollar? How much a year are they sending to the Middle East? Self defence? Israel gets attacked monthly by Arabs in Gaza and Palestine. Ever since Israelis inception infact. The 1948 war the 6 day war Arabs trying to wipe out Israel and the Jews. You can't talk about self defence for a muslim country phrase doesn't exist. Bigoted freak Muslims killed and oppressed Jews when they took over Arabia jarusalem

  • @Alexplus20 I never said that America is fighting for doller so read it properly,I was explaining to you in a very plain Laguage but you used harsh word and you sweared at me but I dont want to use the same word cos those who are fool ,disrespectful are useing such word hope u get it.The problem in middle east is not due to Arabs but America and eve ry child knows it nowadays. So what happend with those 6 million Jows who were killed by Christians?what happened with Rusia and Afghan war??????

  • @Alexplus20 Second comment. The war was between Rusia and America like football match to play in a stadium so for them Afghanistan was a stadium so we had to fight and protect our country which we did so with the help of our supposed friend America but when the sovit defeated, the American despite left us alone created another organisation with the help of Pakistan by the name of Taliban who wre the most stupid people in the face of the earth so these people got notting to do with Islam.

  • @MegaKabuljan instead of asking me for proof not proffered.* everything is Americas fault just shit up. 9/11 was Americas fault 7/7 Mumbai Munich Bali all Americas fault come up with a better argument for gods sake

  • @Alexplus2so you think that only 9/11 7/7 had happened in the world.I knew it that you are narrow minded towards muslims but we muslims condemn 9/11 7/7 and what happening in Afghanistan/Iraq and those 2000 muslims who were born alive in Gujrat as well as Holocast wearase you only thinking about 9/11 and 7/7 bombs...

  • @MegaKabuljan oh and look another story of Muslim brutality just came to light on Skynews the story of poor Aasiyah Hassan the wife to TV executive Muzzammil Hassan who was BEHEADED after being stabbed 40 plus times after she was repeatedly abused. A week or two before the killings Mr Hassan was handed divorce papers. Only Muslims BEHEAD their wives. You fake people are disgusting animals.

  • @Alexplus20 So you fucking looser only find this history in order to answer what I asked you.Surely, you are a fucking dighead, still you don't ever know that crime is a crime weather its done by muslims or some one like you fool.Who was Neil Entwistle who killed his wife and 9 month baby, who was that woman in france who killed her 9 babies and buried them in garage, who was Brain who killed his wife and dump her in rubish bin and so on and on.Think man think and answer me with logic.U prick

  • @MegaKabuljan only muslims beheadings their wives going to ignore this? Only Muslims bury their kids alive to preserve family "honour". Only Muslims publicly hang gays stone people to death chop criminals limbs off and execute kid rape victims. And you think you can compare???? Filthy animal go back to your ghetto nation.

  • @Alexplus20 you repeat again that Muhammed had 11 wives, may I ask you to produce an AUTHENTIC proof. Can I ask you that how many life partners you had/have so far ? How many wives Ibraham had, according to your scriptures or how many wives Soloman had?acording to Bible there is no limit for how many wive you sould have but Islam is the only religius which has limit to the polygamy so as I requested you earlier do your home work properly,Regards

  • @MegaKabuljan those who fight in Afghanistan are fighting for dollar stupid liar. Why are you changing topic? Mohammed had 11 wives not partners wives including Aisha who was nine years old why asking me to look it up? Here's a clue read the Hadiths. Your scriptures? I'm ATHEIST. Instead if asking me for proffered on something I know look it up yourself lazy little boy. Why ignore the factt that Muslims have killed more Jews and oppressed them more than anyone apart from Hitler? LOOK IT UP.

  • @MegaKabuljan 6 million Jews killed by Christians? What blizzard fantasy world do you live in?

  • @Alexplus20 You are not understanding what I'm saying. I'm trying to tell you that even if those crimes were carried out by muslims, they are not Islamic actions. Killing innocent people or commiting suicide are both against our beliefs, no exceptions. If you don't believe me, please look it up, and don't comment with another topic changing the subject. And you may not realize this, but the massacres caused by the US and Israel in the middle east are much worse than you'd imagine.
