  • Will and Carlton..........lmao

  • The Sugarhill Gang was in Toronto last week and they surprised singer Q-Benjamin while she was playing Rapstar on XBOX and was performing their song! She was shocked lol respect the OGs! Search "Q-Benjamin Sugarhill Surprise" ! Its worth the watch :)

  • They're not as good of dancers as Bugaloo Shrimp

  • how many bpm does this song have

  • @MegaNaitsabes Get a clock and count the kick for 10 sec then multiply by 6... then double it ..sounds like 126 bpm or 63pm would work to. For more precision..get MixMeister BPM Analyzer is a free program you can use to determine the exact BPM (beats per minute) of any song

  • maybe its that funny to me cuz im from the 90's ;) but cant hate

  • I miss the days when rap was a lot more innocent.

  • reminds me of those "black face" stuff white ppl did "back in the days".........same category as that crap

  • @toolbaggers Yeah it's totally unlike the wack ass bullshit Little Wayne shits out his mouth.

  • i look for the nice ass and didnt found it

  • Got here from Evolution of Dance

  • People getting too upset because they think we live in more enlightened times. They didn't set out to be offensive, this was hugely popular as were all the western TV shows they would have watched, and just try and look at yourself today and imagine what will be considered politically incorrect in 20 years time.

  • Hey ParadoxMovement....suck it!!

  • I think that is the great Bassist Doug Winbish in this video.

  • Jump on it

  • gosh this song is like super cooool

  • This is the real Sugar Hill Gang

  • My friend's cable guy was the drummer for them...felt like sharing that

  • love this song!!!!!:)

  • There's no resisting when White Goodman puts on his shinny shoes...

  • guys, they're rapping indians. it's not supposed to be serious.

  • hjahjajhahja suena con madre :A

  • This isn't Sugar Hill Gangs original song. They sampled it, check the original, then get offended.

They merely (and ignorantly) copied the dress of the original song.

Them dressing as Natives is as offensive as Japanese dressing as "Black Face" (look it up, it's real). So no, it's not right, and you do have a right to be upset, even if it's just "fun" as stated earlier by someone.

  • All of a sudden I'm back in high school. This song was BEAST!

  • The most politicly correct video ever

  • Lol when i was at Best-Buy i saw this (my fam is native) and i said to my dad, " im offended" lol nd i hav a friend who is apache lol

  • i brought myself here cause i know awsome dance music

  • Indians are crazy

  • haha he says jesse james, thats my name, he was also a robber/outlaw

  • 100% politically correct

  • niiiiiiceeeee

  • ?????????????????????? :3

  • Am I the only person who sees this as really ignorant stereotypical b/s??? I've just always felt that way about this song.

  • @vaibanez17 Yes. They didn't say anything offensive. So yes. It's a celebratory song that puts people in a good mood. If he said BLACK POWER, then you'd get offensive because he's saying blacks. Now he's saying Apache you are still offended. It's in fun, and it's not to offend. It's feel good music. What did he say bad?

  • @CALICOTV301 Nobody said anything bad, it's the way they are dressed. It's ridiculous. They didn't wear this. They wore zarapes and bright colored clothing. This is the worst type of stereotype about Native Americans is that they all were shirtless, feather wearing people. Not even close. Go look at pictures of Geronimo and such.

  • @vaibanez17 Wow... SMH You're ridiculous

  • Raster

  • lol my hole class room just jumped up and just started danceing to it XD

  • no stop making videos about native amiecans

  • Just Dance 3<3

  • Love this so much on just dance 3 :D im so good at itXD

  • @neko7698 me too

  • Just Dance 3 <3

  • thank you akai : )

  • thumbs up if wiz got you here TAYLOR GANG

  • WOW THIS IS THE ORIGINAL THANKS I FOUND IT

  • What was the hell was this recorded on? It sucks ass

  • Thumbs up if Ventriliio Harrassment Sticky Keys brought you here!

  • I can see that it would be offensive. However, I was listening to this when it was first released and I don't think they are trying to make fun of Native Americans. They are just doing something with a Native American theme. White people weren't as conscious of how offensive racial stereotypes were. You younger folks wouldn't believe what was commercially acceptable back in the day. You probably couldn't watch 30 minutes of a 1955 television feed without seeing something shockingly offensive.

  • Did any one notice this is aboust The Lone Ranger

  • yeah i saw that will smith show that day

  • They're dancing the wrong way.

  • montgomey... flea market...

  • No way...it has to be the scene in Dodgeball when White walks up to the house.

  • I can do the dance without instructions and I got 5 stars on Just dance 3 ... I guess I'm a real indian.

  • Just Dance 3

  • i see a nice ass in my related vids im going to click

  • @ImTheAsianLad nooooooo, its a russian rap music clip!!! lol!!!

  • @ImTheAsianLad lol me too!!!

  • Will The Thrill and Boogaloo Shrimp!

  • found it insulting then to my people and still do

  • Some good rapping. I love how they all sound like Vanilla Ice.

  • @JustShootIm none of them sound like vanilla ice

  • @thatJimwiththenes You must have had an accident with your ears.....

  • I though of nothing wrong with this song until I realized that they were making fun of Native Americans.

  • JUMPPP ON IT!!! tht sounds so wrongg

  • I half expected them to do the dance along with it

  • when I hear this, I think of the movie Dodge ball.

  • Thumbs up if fresh prince of bel air brings you here.

  • Lord help us

  • Need more music like this

  • Incorrect description! That's about a far off as calling Stevie Wonder a white def person!

Sugar Hill Gang was not related to the "Seminoles" or any Indians at all. They are an African-American rap group form the late 70's. The feather head dress was just a costume they would wear for that song because of the lyrics.

  • 12 people cant jump on it.

  • My homecoming was a week ago. They played this song at homecoming, and my first thought was Fresh Prince of Bel air. So what did I do? I got a friend who remembered that scene from the show and we did EXACTLY what Will and Carlton did on stage.. Of course as the smaller one, I was the one who was thrown off stage (a couple friends caught me of course) And it was so damn fun :)

  • Omg soooo catchy!!! Ooh that rhymed!!!! Lol

  • I want to get this on mint quality video...and randomly play it at a party...Can I get a 'Hell Yeah' :D

  • Is this what they are protesting at american eagle?

  • Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tonto jump on it, Apache jump on it WoooooooooooooooooHo! Ho The 80's you're on, jump on, Lol we be dancing for hours, and don;t realized what time it was, And the rapper delight, , Planet Rock. Yeah!!!!!!!!

  • @smirch

HAHAHA! I too get reminded of Pierre!

  • im not racist im black to =)

  • theyre... so tall....

  • Anytime I hear this song i think about fresh prince of bel air

  • @MissAnimeFreak513 So do most people...which is why the dance is affiliated with it xD

  • My mom went out with Wonder Mike. He was such a cool person

  • @ShadyFro8 Your mom was fucking awesome then.

  • first time ever for me that the top 2 comments are both awesome

  • I love this song, and I love this group, but could you imagine what would happen if a bunch of white guys dressed like that and started making sterotypical remarks about Native Americans?

  • Now i can sleep and have sweet dreams..

  • hahaha>> :P

  • Nice.... awesome song

  • nice....awesome song..

  • i love that bongo man...

  • @spikemugen22 the giant white guy in the blue spandex/plastic pants is hallarious.

  • this made my day...

  • #first rap song i ever heard x) mah dad showed iht to meh.

  • whoa. how infuriating is this to native americans. now i know why they have those 70s mustaches... to catch each other's semen.

  • who agrees that the guy with white sounds sort of like snoop dogg

  • "My tribe went down in the Hall of Fame, cause I'M the one that shot Jesse James!" I LOVE SUGARHILL!

  • fresh prince

  • very god!!!

  • @Mcincero you mean 'very good'? just checking :)

  • @missdailybailey i thing whe es aretard.

  • When rap didnt have to do with sex and drugs all the time

  • @97SLIPKNOTmaggot What's wrong with sex and drugs, buddy?

  • @dlainhart have no idea what your on about but you had me at sex and drugs

  • @97SLIPKNOTmaggot still doesnt

  • @97SLIPKNOTmaggot Well that's not totally true, "White Lines (Don't Do It)" by Grandmaster Melle Mel was all about drugs.

  • just realized how racist this song is lol

  • Im 12 and I live with my grandparents and they have a lot of old music and I think it's way better than the music now.

  • @newmoongirlz3 You are right! Glad to see a young person appreciate the 70's-early 80's tunes!

  • @newmoongirlz3 cool but do you people have to announce it on every video ???

  • i love this song sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much

  • Sugar Hill Gangs cover of The Incredible Bongo Bands cover of Apache by the Shadows.

  • Comment removed

  • This one is sooo much better than the original version!!!!!!

  • If the fat black man jumps on it he will crush it

  • @luke1078 i think you mean Hank

  • @luke1078 Man, not only is this a song from the 80's, but your comeback is also...

  • jump on it people

  • FRESH PRINCE!

  • the left guy in blue isn´t working the playback at all :D... but still a great song!

  • bahahahahah! love it !!!

  • Geil!

  • At least Sugar Hill Gang didn't sing about shooting people....they're all about just having a good time. It might be a little insensitive, but honestly, I'd rather hear this...which is fairly timeless and always seems to make people smile than something with a beat that is just going to be tossed to the side in 6 months.

  • @TheOb1iterator Amen! Rappin' should be about havin' a good time, not killin' people!

  • @LakotaNDN1984 you're going to say they're offensive, yet call them retarded in the same post? That's offensive.

  • This is extremely offensive and it shows how retarded the Sugar Hill Gang truly were, besides the racial slurs they are saying in the beginning, the Apaches never lived in Tipis, they lived in Hogans, plus the fat guy kept biting off other peoples shit. I am glad these guys are no longer around..

  • @LakotaNDN1984 whiiit calm down there who cares its a good song

  • @LakotaNDN1984 Get over it douchebag. Take yourself back to your teepee blanket ass. BTW I am Native American and not offended.

  • @BronchoKyle Then apparently your just an apple...

  • @LakotaNDN1984 Just having thicker skin than you do. If you don't want to be offended look yourself in your house and get rid of every piece of technology you have and don't communicate with the outside world at all. You could also learn to grow a thicker skin.

  • @LakotaNDN1984 But this song is a fun song here! You can find this on the video game "Just Dance 3" Now, how in the world is it offensive?

  • @kjchicago1 Because it is an American Indian minstrel show. If Native Americans took to the stage dressed like Ice Cube in the "Straight Outta Compton" video and swung around an AK-47 and a bucket of fried chicken, people would be righteously outraged. How is an Indian headdress and fake tomahawk and peace pipe any different?

  • @Kitten51181 : Yeah, I Have to Agree. When First Watching This, I Told My Cousin That They Give Native American Culture A Very, VERY Bad Name!!! LOL. They Didn't Mean Any Harm Though, Yet Some Whites Back In the Day Who Painted Their Faces Black May Thought It Was All About Fun Too!!

  • Real Gangsta Rap

  • Fresh prince of bel air <3

  • master gee is so flyyyyyyyyy

  • this was the hayday of rap.. its shit now.. all about money and killing and shit.. crap.. this was fun..

  • WELL I'M BIG BANK!

  • @09Deathmachine Damn You are so young, where the hell you think that lame ass music from today come from. lol Screw 2000- 2011 music. haha

  • @OfficialKohieArts Not all 2000-2011 music is bad. Just most of it.

  • @09Deathmachine why do you say gay when you cant say shit? is there something wrong with your keyboard? if so i suggest getting a new one.

PS. i dont feed into trolls.

  • @09Deathmachine Haha, look at you you self censoring pussy faggot. Run back to your top 40 before your ass gets beat!

  • @09Deathmachine You just don't have no good taste in old skool rap.
