The one thing that bugs me about the design is the lack of a method for inspecting the chamber. They obviously copied the basic design concept from the FS2000. I find it curious they didn't feel the need to be able to access the chamber area easily was required. But I do like the design quite a bit. It's absolutely awesome they took what FNH did with the FS2000 and made a .308 out of it.
Why don't they make the RFB take various mags like the SUB2K, I wish they would #1 start making more RFB's and #2 make one that takes magpuls 7.62 AR mag.
One of the best shooting vids I have seen. Loved it.
The shooter fits to the rifle not to the scope. The scope does not change zero unless it sticks or the mounts move. I would love to run with these guys any day.
IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THERE WAS A FLIP UP CHAMBER INSPECTION PORT WHERE YOU COULD SEE IT WAS SAFE , LIKE THE FS 2000 ?! .I LIKE THE GUN EVEN WITH MILD COMPLANTS .HEY TRY A HI STRESS RUN N GUN , LIKE AIR HORNS AND FIRCRACKERS JUST FOR FUN ;-) LOVE THE VIDS EVEN THE BANTER IN TOLERABLE !HAHA
Comment on the issue with te RFB pointing up on you while slung. Reverse the shoulder that you have the sling over. This is how I prefer to run a two point sling, with the strap running over the top of my shooting shoulder. This helps keep the muzzle down when hanging across your chest. Just a thought. Thanks for another great video. I have been a fan for a long time.
What's wrong with the wolf ammo? My uncle has an AK that loves the stuff. I think that is what he has stocked up. He probably has at least 1,000 rounds on the very low end.
I think the PMR-30 (while I probably won't buy one) is a daring choice to make a 22 mag semi auto. I have seen a few Automag II's in 22 mag and they don't run that good. It seems that the 22 mags are just to long and narrow to be super reliable in a semi-auto pistol. If kel-tec can get the the PMR to be reliable that pisol would be awesome.
Love it. There is actually a Discovery show on feral hogs and how they are overrunning areas in the South, called Hogs Gone Wild haha. TNP road trip! That would be some fun footage.
I just want to add to my last comment that I am an infantry veteran, take professional tactical training several times each year, and get out in the field at least once each month. I am far from an expert, but after seeing sling hangups at least a dozen times in these vids I had to say something. It could save a life by being faster/smoother.
Nutn, I have loved watching this video series; THANK YOU! I hate to armchair QB this, but if you objectively review these videos it is impossible to argue against what I'm about to suggest. Just watch each time you guys run up to the barricade and try to shoulder a rifle; the slings are not being utilized efficiently at all. Trust me, if you put the sling on with sling "high" on your firing side instead of "low" weapons transitions, reloads, and position changing will be much faster and smooth.
My mom who has never shot a gun before, purchased a used KT from a local gun shop a few years ago. Now everytime I come home to visit, she wants to go shoot. Yall have done something w/ your firearms that I couldnt do on my own. Get her to love firearms. She is always calling and asking me questions, and is practicing as often as she can. Thanks for allowing me this opportunity guys!
KSG ! KSG! KSG??? Was looking to see the KSG and Nutn's comments on it, maybe next time. I would have liked to see the RFB with the 32" barrel, again maybe next time. To Chad Dude get your guns workig before you show them off we all know that they need a breakin as do most guns.Would like to see the KSG in black set up to Nutnfncy spec and run though the gauntlet I'm still going to buy Keltec 32" RFB and KSG .
Hey Chad great addition to the team and I look forward to more videos(bring a sub2k next time). Do you have any comments about the turn around time for warranty work? I am hearing 6+ weeks or is it internet BS.
I am from Florida(ft lauderdale) and no dealer within 100 miles has a sub 2000 or PF9 in stock(as of last week). The guns people do get seem to show up on guntrader plus about $100 over MSRP. Based on your comments its not you guys fault(distributors) but just wanted to make you aware.
@xxturbowesxx Hey! Thanks! I had more fun than should be legal with TNP. Those guys are a ton of fun and really good shooters. I learned a lot from them. Good times.
The turn-around is 4 to 6 weeks typically. Email me, though... let's talk about your situation ;)
As far as KT availability, there's been a lot of changes made on our end of things that in theory will help that situation. But, again, those distributors need to be more fair about spreading our guns out evenly.
@chadderick1 hey was wonderin i know is not available yet but when it is wat will the RMR-30 retail for im really interested in that one, the rfb and the ksg. BTW awesome work in the vids. :)
WHAAAT? I thought there would be FAL runs in this series? Didn't I hear that or am I imagining things? Maybe there's more to come, still hoping for more M1a FrankenSocom, cool gun, with or without the handguard.
I just shot a cops pmr-30 today. It's a good gun dont like that the sights are not adjustuble so it shot low left. And out of a 100 rounds there were two fail to ejects. But its light wieght and sweet trigger.
@FearNoEvil556 Tell your officer buddy to email me here. I can personally get his PMR running 100% with a very short turn-around period. Seriously. Hit me up asap.
another awesome serires of vids for TNP! I really dig the music you picked for this 3 part series. Can you post a link to the owner of that cool guitar instumental, please!!! It would be a cool ringtone. =)
SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000! SUB 2000!
Great video I really enjoyed them(watched 3 in a row). Did I mention the SUB 2000? Maybe a battle of the pistol carbines(hipoint/keltec/cx9/marlin camp)
Hey what might be a good idea for that 200 yard plate or any of the smaller ones for that matter you should try spray painting them to make them easier to spot, i'd imagine black would do just fine for your area
i didn't see it in my quick run through of the comments but has anyone suggested that they re-chamber the pmr for .17 it would be a little more durable round might cycle a little better and would be a comparably priced round to shoot
Chad has to be one of the best guest EVER on TNP cant get enough of him. but on the whole cant find any Kel-tec product. The gun shops in my area seem to have a ample supply of Kel tec stuff. every shop near me has at least 1 RFB amd a few PMR30 in stock. i have a RFB on layaway at i speak. Kel tec has THE BEST customer service of any gun manufacture out there as well love um. Cant wait for the KSG vid.
@stuttterbuttter Hey, thanks!!! It was such a great time! I'm looking forward to doing it again :)
Thanks for watching & stay tuned... the KSG course was AWESOME. I told Nutn he outdid himself and he's gonna have to get very creative if he wants future videos to stand up to it. Hope you dig it!
@machinegun911 Just gotta be sure to hit them in the ear. Nothin' like the thrill of huntin' 300 pound, killer hogs up close & personal... LOL! Yeeeee Hawwww!!
@Dechthem Thank YOU for watching the videos and having a good time... that's what it's all about! Stay tuned... there's more great TNP/Kel-Tec videos in the making ;)
fascinating points on the pmr at the end. is it just me or did the KT guns fail more than the non KT guns this time? fun vids any way, I hope that kel tec improves things in the future
@wingus79 Got the PMRs back today. Nutn's PMR just had a weak extractor spring. After a couple hundred rounds it quit throwing the brass out every time. My PMR just needed the feed ramp polished a lil' bit. I ran about 300 rounds through each of them today without a single issue. Go figure... something so simple made such a big fuss. Before the next trip I'll make sure I have plenty of time to go over the guns a bit more.
@chadderick1 do you think the extractor spring issue a larger problem with the product line line, or is it an isolated incident ? I love the idea of the pmr 30, but the execution of the product seems flawed from my end. and shouldn't the feed ramp have been polished at the factory in the first place? I really want Kel Tec to get this one right before Ruger does the same thing right, like what happened with the lcp and lc9.
@wingus79 Those issues were MY fault actually. I built those 2 PMRs from scratch myself and I feel like an idiot for not being more on top of my game. I was very rushed to get them built for the video shoot and didn't have a whole lot of time to do what we normally do with quality checks. Just so happened that I grabbed the 1 bad extractor spring out of the 1,000 in the bag. The tan PMR is my personal gun & I brought it just for show, but ended up shooting it. It only had 3 or so misfeeds...
@wingus79 ... also to point something else out, I took 6 weapons out there that I built and the only one that had any real problems was Nutn's PMR. And as I said, it was a very simple fix... just installed a 3 cent part and it runs 100% now. My PMR had 3 or 4 misfeeds out of 200 to 300 rounds fired, but of course the camera caught it. That's just how it goes on TNP sometimes. Lesson learned.
@chadderick1 thats reassuring, I hope that this experience has been good PR for Kel Tec. the level of innovation that comes out of you folks is astounding. I am excited about the RMR, and I still want a PMR as a sweet trail gun. a pmr+rmr combo would be more than perfect for a backpacking trip IMO.
@wingus79 You have the right idea, my friend. Those guns were actually designed for exactly that purpose. Thanks again for tuning in and leaving great comments. It's nice having people out there such as yourself that get it.
@chadderick1 Yet another fart snuck in in this video, just like part 2. I could see it coming on this one too. Also, you're a lucky bastard to get out with TNP! Hopefully Keltec can get you out with the guys more often, nice to see a fun new face out with them.
Chad, can you give us some tips on how to correct a bad fal mag? I've yet to run into a bad mag yet, but I'd like to have an idea of what to do when I find one.
The magazines need to be new & better for the RFB 308. With that fixed it looks to be a great piece of kit. Short & compact with the barrel length needed for longer engagements.
Everytime i watch your videos it makes me so fucking jealous because i live in pussyville AKA Europe. I'd love to come along and do some gun running with you guys, just to see how I would stack up against some other people.....
God I fuckin hate Europe sometimes..... :p
Keep up the great work NFP, i truly appreciate your honest, no-bullshit approach to everything you guys do. Don't worry bout the haters, the more people are hatin', the better you are doing!!!
I was at a local dealer looking at the Fn 57 and they told me they had a lot of the fixed sight models returned because they were not hitting at point of aim. Has PFI ever noticed anything like that?
@MrKansai1 I think those AUGs are VERY cool! I prefer the RFB, though. That's an honest opinion. I'm obviously more comfortable/confident with the RFB, because I don't own a Steyr and I fire RFBs 8 hours a day 3 days a week. I' would love to own the AUG if I knew I could get an awesome trigger job done to it. The RFB trigger is unmatched in any other bullpup design.
Ok guys... pay close attention... I had a meeting today with the boss. The reason KTs are difficult to find in SOME areas is a DISTRIBUTOR issue. They play favorites and there's nothing WE can do about it. Your local retailer can try to buddy up to the distributors, so pressure them to do so.I REALLY wish I could help. ALSO, KT is a SMALL company, so please give us some slack. We DO however distribute evenly what we produce.
@chadderick1 Thank you for clearing this up. I wish you had a way of shouting this message across the entire internet. It would certainly silence a lot of the complaining. Though at least you are doing what you can.
@Fry790 Thanks for supporting me there... I'm doing all I can to spread the word. People act as though we don't want them to own our firearms. It's getting ridiculous... the amount of hatred thrusted toward me about the availability of our products. Nutn & the guys in these vids are just giving me a hard time and that's all in good fun. Also, I wasn't completely aware of the shortage of KTs out there. I test fire nearly a thousand guns A DAY there, so... where are they?
@chadderick1 Yes, there is a crazy KT shortage everywhere, I paid way over msrp to get my sub2000(in the g17 version). I go to almost every gun show here in the Dallas area, I think I've only seen one pmr and rfb. I can't effing wait to get a ksg.
@Bigfootstalker Dang, man! I'm sorry to hear that! I really wish distributors would evenly pass out Kel-Tecs... it annoys me to no end to hear that people out there are having a hard time finding our firearms. There's no excuse for it! If we could go dealer direct we would, but it just doesn't benefit our company to do so... It's dumb legal stuff... makes it a hassle to do it that way :-/
@chadderick1 I love what your doing chad. You guys at Kel-Tec have some great looking guns, and i would love to get my hands on one in the near future, Keep doing your thing and keep the company strong.
There are NOT in Canada. :-) We are only seeing a trickle up here, perhaps only 5 dealers total have them, and getting only 4 rifles each every few months. Partly because they have to be marked .308 and not have a flash hider or threading. A few of the desert tan models came up in the last few months and they are pretty cool. I just want to thank you personally for your efforts to ensure the boy's up north get to enjoy this fantastic system, the RFB
@HLSOPS The PMR-30 is NOT designed to be used as a personal protection firearm (MY PERSONAL OPINION). Anybody that prefers a rimfire cartrige over centerfire for personal defense needs to have their head checked. (ALSO my personal opinion) The issue with that particular PMR-30 was an extractor spring heat treat problem. We send them out to be hardened. Tough to find that issue until you've fired a couple hundred rounds through it. I didn't have time before I left for the shoot. Simple fix.
Yo nutn and PFI's! thanks for keeping it real bros we always appreciate the honesty ditto for you too chad. One day commifornia will be a free state and we can have the pmr30 without kel-tec having to chop their guns up and pay extortion fees.
@vandalfan5816 Man, I LOVE California... lived there for 1/2 my adult life... just wish it was run by the people and not the government. Your laws are absolutely ridiculous. I'm so sorry about that. Thank you for the support and for watching. Keep in mind there's plenty of room for you down here in Florida!
I applaud Kel-Tec for being innovative and taking the road less traveled. I carry a pf9 and absolutely love it, and have shot their su-16 with no complaints. Many manufacturers just regurgitate the same products to the point you cant even tell who made it unless you pick up the rifle and read the side. When you see a Kel-tec your like hey there's an RFB . ...........Drive on with the mission boy's and good job.
Awesome job on this series, your muscle memory is so m4 trained you were grabbing up where an m4 would be on your reloads, took you like 0.5 seconds to remember your running a bull pup, looks like a sweet rifle and all of the crew did some great shooting
I think speed vs accuracy debate would be better presented if a shooter couldn't move to the next station without connecting a set amount of times
If you fire 5 rounds, move to the next station, in the end wouldn't your times be about the same regardless of accuracy?
I understand it's necessary to keep the ball rolling if someone gets hung up on a station, but I think it would be really interesting to show someone they can't shoot fast enough to win.
Awesome set of videos guys. Chad, it was great to see you in the Sledge. I am a big fan of Kel-Tec. I currently have a P11 that I love. Hope to see you again sometime.
@bubblehead7680 THANKS!! And thank you for watching! We're already planning another shoot... it's going to very special and you won't wanna miss it!! Wish I could say more. Nutn will be posting plenty of awesome vids between now & then to tide you over, though ;)
@seattle0002 See above... we provide plenty of guns to distributors... we do not sell dealer-direct. The issue is between distributors and retailers. Distros play favorites in some areas of the Country. Wish we could help prevent that, but it's out of our control.
@nut.....the trigger?!?!?! Do you think that you got a consistent stock/cheek weld? That RFB was not set up right in my opinion and experience with the RFB!
@JoeCensored I wasn't able to test all of them before I shipped the guns. If I had time, I could have fixed those 2 "bad" mags in the field... they're very easy to repair... not sure why everyone keeps harping on that. A magazine is made up of very simple components. Mag failure & weapon failure are 2 completely different issues. If you have a problem with your mags, just pull it apart & fix it! Don't go buying more or pointing at the gun and assuming it's a pile of crap.
The RFB is a very nice weapon. The 22 is not something I would ever be interested in. Just do not shoot that caliber ever in pistol. I think Chad did well and the weapons were very new so give them time to break in and I bet these things are top o the line. Every Kel-Tec I have owned was flawless.
"Fix your damn gun"- what an honest response. I was curious at the performance because .22 mag has been known to be finicky, as a semi auto cartridge. How's the new PMR compared to the .22 mag AMT
no field testing? hmmm? is chad the product mgr or a tech rep or a sales rep? seems like a lessons here. check your mags- you running prototypes? is kel tec going too far over the top with hype. chad shows little tech knowledge and no experience in a real field test. sour is right. what's with part 3 being the same as part 2? i don't like bagging on kel tec but "they turfed it". chad should have to pay out of pocket and have a sit down with his boss.
@Wereupunder And you should keep your mouth shut when you have no clue as to what you're talking about. How's your mom's basement treatin' ya? I'm so over you couch shooters spouting off. Please, stop watching.
@chadderick Sorry troll, it is your maggot riddled brain that has no clue. I have 20+ yrs technical service and product testing with R&D. Yeah, I was hard on Chad- actually after watching part three I could see why Nutn had such good vibes going on. I don't live in a part of the US that requires a basement. In addition I fire off more shots before noon than you have in your entire pitiful life. I like Chad, I think he was tits in the booth review but clunky in the role of user. Have a nice day
@chadderick1 well i'll be. you are Chad, hey dude sorry. Like i said i thought you brought a good vibe. those ugly things you said are untrue. likewise i am sure your brain is maggot free. hope to see you in later projects or at shot show. have a nicer day
nutnfancy - The honesty is very much appreciated. So many channels turn into your basic gun mag everything is great BS once they start to receive product for free/mfg support etc......
Being able to make the choice of not going down that road shows your outstanding character.
Kinda sucks that Kel Tec already has the PMR30 on the market and they didn't test it in this environment. No companies perfect--granted-- but I think at least shooting the production model in the most demanding condition would be a good idea. Any body else thinks so too?
OK SORRY Chad....about the Real Gun Maker Comment. PMR 30 is something I'd really like to have. The Kel Tec video's are ...or course...trouble free. And Your Customer Service's Rep. is nothing but GOOD! Most likely if I ever see one for sale at my local dealers, I'll snagg it... Sooooo My apoligy ... is offered... to all the TNP'ers...and to Chad, for my no expierence-narrow minded comment..
Did you guys get to run the KSG ? Yeah I too was a little disappointed in the the way the PMR ran...lube it up if you have to....also those mags for the RFB throw them away...Chad, Kel-tec, and Nutnfancy crew great job thanks!
I Love the humor being thrown around, I can't tell if I watch this series more for the guns or the pure entertaining interaction you guys deliver haha
hopeful for PMR reliability fixes, lookging forward to the RMR, RFB looks really awesome but maybe reconfigure to use SR25/M110 mags to use the excellent Magpul Pmags
@mikeypc12 most bulpups eject out of the side, so without modification, left handed shooters get a facefull of brass and hot gas with every shot...and with the full-auto military bulpups....forget about it
really hopeful for the PMR 30 reliability fixes...take this stuff as a data-point Chad! really like the RFB, but it could be better with better mags like nutn says... maybe do a deal with magpul to make mags just for the RFB?
NO rifle or hangun is battle ready until it has at least 1000-2000 rounds through it... 2500-3000 if you do some tweaking and is my magic number and I prefer to run 5000 rounds for any primary defense weapon... shot guns excluded. Your milage could vary, but should it?
Skippin' & gunnin'....now that's a first. Chad brought an awesome vibe to this shoot. Props to PFI Dad for hangin' all day with the young guns. Great shooting boys!
Another great vid! Show it like it happens and staying true to the facts, way to go Nutn and crew. Just having fun running and gunning with a great crew...what an awesome way to spend the day.
Nutnfancy, I was hoping to see you run the sub 2000, do you have any videos coming out for it soon? I'm wondering if kel tec has any updates planned for that gun.

As far as KT availability, there's been a lot of changes made on our end of things that in theory will help that situation. But, again, those distributors need to be more fair about spreading our guns out evenly.
Thanks!

WHAAAT? I thought there would be FAL runs in this series? Didn't I hear that or am I imagining things? Maybe there's more to come, still hoping for more M1a FrankenSocom, cool gun, with or without the handguard.
ImWatchinTheTube 11 months ago
I just shot a cops pmr-30 today. It's a good gun dont like that the sights are not adjustuble so it shot low left. And out of a 100 rounds there were two fail to ejects. But its light wieght and sweet trigger.

@FearNoEvil556 Tell your officer buddy to email me here. I can personally get his PMR running 100% with a very short turn-around period. Seriously. Hit me up asap.

Hey what might be a good idea for that 200 yard plate or any of the smaller ones for that matter you should try spray painting them to make them easier to spot, i'd imagine black would do just fine for your area
theicedman 11 months ago
i didn't see it in my quick run through of the comments but has anyone suggested that they re-chamber the pmr for .17 it would be a little more durable round might cycle a little better and would be a comparably priced round to shoot
palmusp 11 months ago
Chad has to be one of the best guest EVER on TNP cant get enough of him. but on the whole cant find any Kel-tec product. The gun shops in my area seem to have a ample supply of Kel tec stuff. every shop near me has at least 1 RFB amd a few PMR30 in stock. i have a RFB on layaway at i speak. Kel tec has THE BEST customer service of any gun manufacture out there as well love um. Cant wait for the KSG vid.

Is it possible for the RFB bullpup design to accomodate the new 100 round Beta C-MAG featured on betaco(dot)com (metric FN FAL 7.62)?
Would it get in the way of your arm?
I'm trying to decide if I want to get one for my G3 or if can get one for an RFB.
Thank you.

fascinating points on the pmr at the end. is it just me or did the KT guns fail more than the non KT guns this time? fun vids any way, I hope that kel tec improves things in the future
wingus79 11 months ago
@wingus79 Got the PMRs back today. Nutn's PMR just had a weak extractor spring. After a couple hundred rounds it quit throwing the brass out every time. My PMR just needed the feed ramp polished a lil' bit. I ran about 300 rounds through each of them today without a single issue. Go figure... something so simple made such a big fuss. Before the next trip I'll make sure I have plenty of time to go over the guns a bit more.
Thanks for watching!!
-Chad
chadderick1 11 months ago
@chadderick1 do you think the extractor spring issue a larger problem with the product line line, or is it an isolated incident ? I love the idea of the pmr 30, but the execution of the product seems flawed from my end. and shouldn't the feed ramp have been polished at the factory in the first place? I really want Kel Tec to get this one right before Ruger does the same thing right, like what happened with the lcp and lc9.
wingus79 11 months ago
@wingus79 Those issues were MY fault actually. I built those 2 PMRs from scratch myself and I feel like an idiot for not being more on top of my game. I was very rushed to get them built for the video shoot and didn't have a whole lot of time to do what we normally do with quality checks. Just so happened that I grabbed the 1 bad extractor spring out of the 1,000 in the bag. The tan PMR is my personal gun & I brought it just for show, but ended up shooting it. It only had 3 or so misfeeds...
chadderick1 11 months ago
@wingus79 ... also to point something else out, I took 6 weapons out there that I built and the only one that had any real problems was Nutn's PMR. And as I said, it was a very simple fix... just installed a 3 cent part and it runs 100% now. My PMR had 3 or 4 misfeeds out of 200 to 300 rounds fired, but of course the camera caught it. That's just how it goes on TNP sometimes. Lesson learned.
-Chad
chadderick1 11 months ago
@chadderick1 thats reassuring, I hope that this experience has been good PR for Kel Tec. the level of innovation that comes out of you folks is astounding. I am excited about the RMR, and I still want a PMR as a sweet trail gun. a pmr+rmr combo would be more than perfect for a backpacking trip IMO.
wingus79 11 months ago
@wingus79 You have the right idea, my friend. Those guns were actually designed for exactly that purpose. Thanks again for tuning in and leaving great comments. It's nice having people out there such as yourself that get it.

chris61182 11 months ago
The magazines need to be new & better for the RFB 308. With that fixed it looks to be a great piece of kit. Short & compact with the barrel length needed for longer engagements.

Yo Chad:) How RFB looks when compared to Steyr AUG in your opinion?
MrKansai1 11 months ago
@MrKansai1 I think those AUGs are VERY cool! I prefer the RFB, though. That's an honest opinion. I'm obviously more comfortable/confident with the RFB, because I don't own a Steyr and I fire RFBs 8 hours a day 3 days a week. I' would love to own the AUG if I knew I could get an awesome trigger job done to it. The RFB trigger is unmatched in any other bullpup design.
Great question!
Stay in touch,

chadderick1 11 months ago
Ok guys... pay close attention...
Thank you!
-Chad
chadderick1 11 months ago
@chadderick1 Thank you for clearing this up. I wish you had a way of shouting this message across the entire internet. It would certainly silence a lot of the complaining. Though at least you are doing what you can.
Fry790 11 months ago
@Fry790 Thanks for supporting me there... I'm doing all I can to spread the word. People act as though we don't want them to own our firearms. It's getting ridiculous... the amount of hatred thrusted toward me about the availability of our products. Nutn & the guys in these vids are just giving me a hard time and that's all in good fun. Also, I wasn't completely aware of the shortage of KTs out there. I test fire nearly a thousand guns A DAY there, so... where are they?
-Chad
chadderick1 11 months ago 25
@chadderick1 Yes, there is a crazy KT shortage everywhere, I paid way over msrp to get my sub2000(in the g17 version). I go to almost every gun show here in the Dallas area, I think I've only seen one pmr and rfb. I can't effing wait to get a ksg.
Bigfootstalker 11 months ago
@Bigfootstalker Dang, man! I'm sorry to hear that! I really wish distributors would evenly pass out Kel-Tecs... it annoys me to no end to hear that people out there are having a hard time finding our firearms. There's no excuse for it! If we could go dealer direct we would, but it just doesn't benefit our company to do so... It's dumb legal stuff... makes it a hassle to do it that way :-/
Thanks for your support & for watching the vids!

@chadderick1
I just want to thank you personally for your efforts to ensure the boy's up north get to enjoy this fantastic system, the RFB
skinnadoor 7 months ago
You would have been dead. Was that the PMR-30 ? what mag ?
HLSOPS 11 months ago
@HLSOPS The PMR-30 is NOT designed to be used as a personal protection firearm (MY PERSONAL OPINION). Anybody that prefers a rimfire cartrige over centerfire for personal defense needs to have their head checked. (ALSO my personal opinion) The issue with that particular PMR-30 was an extractor spring heat treat problem. We send them out to be hardened. Tough to find that issue until you've fired a couple hundred rounds through it. I didn't have time before I left for the shoot. Simple fix.

TNPviewer 11 months ago
I think speed vs accuracy debate would be better presented if a shooter couldn't move to the next station without connecting a set amount of times
If you fire 5 rounds, move to the next station, in the end wouldn't your times be about the same regardless of accuracy?
I understand it's necessary to keep the ball rolling if someone gets hung up on a station, but I think it would be really interesting to show someone they can't shoot fast enough to win.
I also understand it keeps rnds fired set

What exactly is the point in promoting Kel-Tec so heavily when they allegedly don't stock their suppliers?! So these are great guns I can't buy?!
seattle0002 11 months ago
@seattle0002 See above... we provide plenty of guns to distributors... we do not sell dealer-direct. The issue is between distributors and retailers. Distros play favorites in some areas of the Country. Wish we could help prevent that, but it's out of our control.

With Kel-Tec knowing so many people would see the results of these videos, I'm confused why Chad didn't bring only known good FAL mags.
JoeCensored 11 months ago
@JoeCensored I wasn't able to test all of them before I shipped the guns. If I had time, I could have fixed those 2 "bad" mags in the field... they're very easy to repair... not sure why everyone keeps harping on that. A magazine is made up of very simple components. Mag failure & weapon failure are 2 completely different issues. If you have a problem with your mags, just pull it apart & fix it! Don't go buying more or pointing at the gun and assuming it's a pile of crap.
-Chad
chadderick1 11 months ago
The RFB is a very nice weapon. The 22 is not something I would ever be interested in. Just do not shoot that caliber ever in pistol. I think Chad did well and the weapons were very new so give them time to break in and I bet these things are top o the line. Every Kel-Tec I have owned was flawless.

xxxBODYCOUNTxxx 11 months ago
no field testing? hmmm? is chad the product mgr or a tech rep or a sales rep? seems like a lessons here. check your mags- you running prototypes? is kel tec going too far over the top with hype. chad shows little tech knowledge and no experience in a real field test. sour is right. what's with part 3 being the same as part 2? i don't like bagging on kel tec but "they turfed it". chad should have to pay out of pocket and have a sit down with his boss.

Kinda sucks that Kel Tec already has the PMR30 on the market and they didn't test it in this environment. No companies perfect--granted-- but I think at least shooting the production model in the most demanding condition would be a good idea. Any body else thinks so too?

Yo Nutn whats the advantage of the ejection port on the RFB? was curious
mikeypc12 11 months ago
@mikeypc12 most bulpups eject out of the side, so without modification, left handed shooters get a facefull of brass and hot gas with every shot...and with the full-auto military bulpups....forget about it

Another great vid! Show it like it happens and staying true to the facts, way to go Nutn and crew. Just having fun running and gunning with a great crew...what an awesome way to spend the day.
