@RedWarriorReviews the m4/m16/ar15 family is designed to have very little recoil because the massive buffer spring absorbs almost all of the recoil. if you have military training like the army or army rangers and sometimes the SEAL's, you wont have any recoil because you have been taught techniques to control it even further.

7 rounds is only good for a .45 ACP handgun. If you have a lower caliber like a 9mm with a lower grain in that handgun, good luck with self defense. If you haven't noticed, M4/AR15s have very low grain rounds traveling at fast speeds causing it to have little stopping power. What makes this video sad is that the kid can't handle a 5.56/.223 round as it has no kick at all.

@jacketfootball08 Not a PKM, that's a RPD. It uses the same round as the AK47 (7.62x39mm) So imagine the AK47 round in a bigger, heavier gun. Hence why it seems the gun has so little kick.

7 rounds is only good for a .45 ACP handgun. If you have a lower caliber like a 9mm with a lower grain in that handgun, good luck with self defense. If you haven't noticed, M4/AR15s have very low grain rounds traveling at fast speeds causing it to have little stopping power. What makes this video sad is that the kid can't handle a 5.56/.223 round as it has no kick at all.

@SLEAZY808 yes i agree completely but there is no use in a civilian owning an assault rifle or any gun with a 30 round mag but i and im sorry it was my bad but my handgun has 8 rounds plus one in the chamber and i do agree completely that this kid having a hard time controlling this weapon is rather pathetic but either way ill stick with my M1911 over an m4 for self defense any day

@System785 hahahaa, Little airsoft kid? I have two real guns and for a start, the M4 is NOT a machine gun. It is carbine, since it has a shorter 14.5 inch barrel, it is not belt fed, its magazine fed, 30 rounds of 5.56x45, not ideal for sustained fire. It also fires from a closed bolt, not an open bolt. In conclusion...Its not a machine gun. I think you should learn more about a person before you call them a 'stupid airsoft kid'.

I agree with you that it is obviously not considered a "machine gun", however it is very capable of sustaining full auto fire (as it is used mostly in full auto for military purposes). Im not going to argue with you as I am an expert in modern firearms.

@System785 We all started somewhere. I suppose you got the impression i started with airsoft and know nothing of real guns, that isnt the case. I actually started using real guns at the range, like .22's .38's and .308 at 1000 yards for many years before i discovered airsoft.
