The Japanese version has japanese subtitles, but it still has the English voice acting.

Fukuyama, All re-releases of MGS in Japan have English voices. Integral had english voices. Same goes for MGS2 Substance. For one reason or another, MGS3 Subsistance retained the Japanese Voices.

MGS first had Japanese voices, and then the "international" versions were released. Integral came out with English voices only. JPN MGS 2 SoL also had Japanese voices, but following the American release, Substance was released with the English voices. When MGS3 SE came out, both regions had their respective voice acting. Yet with Subsistance, they retained the Japanses acting for consistancy with the online game's voices.

All re-releases(sans MGS3)=english voices

How'd they get the Japanese soundtrackl on the Gray Fox confession part. Gray Fox sounded pretty calm for a guy who was holding a couple hundred tons of stell over him. I compared the speech with the Amercan dialogues and the Japanese have to save alot of time in conversations, guess they need the extra seconds for writting :)

That's because 'Metal Gear Solid 3' is (supposedely) the beginning of the Metal Gear story. But I still consider 'Metal Gear' (for the MSX) the first story ever made.
