However the proof of the racism charges were evidenced by his girlfriend via pictures on his cell phone of the "hangman" pictures on the bathroom wall. She also confirmed hearing the company staff using racial slurs via his cell phone as he hid in a bathroom stall.
So while his actions are no doubt inexcusable, make no mistake, the company gets some of the blame for the environment.

My point was only to say based on the evidence, it sounds like the company allowed a known hostile environment to fester. Should they have died for it? Obviously not, but it's similar to when a child complains of a bully at school and the teachers ignore the child.
The school would bear some responsibility, and hence so does the company.

Secondly, it's unfair to any white people who would otherwise deserve a job. If there are five openings, and the most qualified people are all white, they should get the jobs. White people were once slaves too, if you could go back into history lots of whites will find that their ancestors may have been treated worst than Blacks were in the early 1900s. But, actually there are much, much more serious issues to address here rather than the media's and the American public's obsession with race. Workplace safety is the first thing that comes to mind. And I am sure this guy had a number of red flags that could have been addressed before this shooting occurred.
