    Consistency is KING.

Not a bad effect tho :P

  • damn men ur amazing

  • Dragon Ball movie should be like this ;)

  • Holy shit ! Your'e Great !

  • Oh shit. Dahaka followed the prince into modern times. lol.

    very nicely executed btw.

  • estou tentando encontrar alguma coisa que produza efeito de filme 35 mm... no powerdirector ta foda

    cyro augusto

  • holy fuck if i saw this in a movie i would shit my pants.

  • Very good, but remember, a camera "reads" the exposition of the whole screen, if you make something like an explosion or rays the buildings near the camera would look just like silhouettes, and the lights will have a little glow.

  • damn. This one must've just breezed through theaters.. Totally missed it.

  • holy CRAP!!!!! you a beast

  • Thats the Dhaka from prince of persia warrior within aint it?!

  • @TheDeathCON12 That was also my first though and seems that we are correct if you look up at Dahaka in google images you'll find this one position.

  • FAAAAAAaAAAAAAANNNNNTTTTAAAASSSSTTTTTIIIIICCCCC!!!!

  • holy crap thats awesome!

  • its amazing how like people can do stuff like dis you thought only like top notch special effects could

  • wow...!!! great...!!! can you tell me what's the music you used?

  • good ole andrew kramer with his tutorials!

  • NERD GASM!!

  • That robot was going Super Saiyan! :D

  • what is the song called

  • I love this! Absolutely amazing! I don't do effects but I write music for films. If you ever need a composer or know someone that needs a composer, please let me know cause I would be happy to help out if you would like me to. Great video again!

  • Love it, the energy thing is from Videocopilot?

  • DAHAKA IS BAAACK :OOO

  • I think I just came

  • cool, you had the energy field effect from a tutorial right?. i used that one before :D.. it rock ass

  • Is that the Dahaka?!

  • can you make tutorial for this plss.

  • Now I understand why they don't use this kind of effects so long.

P.S. Don't use the same angle twice.

  • it's DAHAKA! :D (from prince of persia)

  • It's nice, but you used Particle Illusion too, did you?!!

  • Very Nice!!!

    Stuntman7545

    JBH-FILMS

  • tutorial please :)

  • I like it. You expanded on VC's tutorial. I like that you expanded it, I don't like that you didn't make it your own. when I mean your own, I mean that I can totally tell that you went off of VC

  • jeah thumos up very nice work I<3 Copilot

  • Dahaka... xD :D

  • Did'cha add Action Essentials to this?? :D

  • You should've rendered it out in a proper HD format.

360p is to low to judge this video.

  • that is one of the best after effects i have ever seen with adobe :)

  • the thing that bugs me about this is that the street shot lasts about 15 seconds, and yeah, the energy effect does look amazing, but there's nothing else going on. i know that's not the point, the point of the video is the energy effect, but you know, people should be running away, or maybe the lights on the buildings should go out, idk. but yeah, as awesome as the effect is, after just a few seconds of nothing else going on, it gets repetitive. the ariel view looks amazing though.

  • @supimbob12 I know. it bugs me too. :) Alas, I dont have time to shoot with a video on the streets so I googled an image I liked and did this while learning the tutorial as a way to learn and to keep it interesting.

  • @bompakk that makes sense, yeah. you could do something simple, like, make the big billboards get darker, you could just do that in photoshop and then have it switch background images between the lit up ones and the darker ones; just something little like that would make the whole thing look better; cause i can't really say anything you should improve on on the energy field.

  • @bompakk make or buy some footage of people running away in panic on a green screen and composite them in.

  • @bompakk I know what u mean... I hate having 2 work with a bunch of stills

  • @bompakk if you teach me how to do this mill pay you :)

  • @bompakk TUTORIAL ON THE ENERGY FIELD FTW pwease :3

  • @supimbob12 pay some people and start a fuss real other people would follow :P

  • hey !! that's the Dahaka from Prince Of Persia : Warrior Within !! awesome game.

  • hahahah...you just made better special effects than some movies with millions of dollars of budget...

  • almost an exact copy of andrew kramers work with music

  • tell me everything you know right now...now.

  • Wow, very well done! I like how you put it over the city - using masks, I'm assuming.

    I love it!

  • @TheAnnaBelmonte

Thanks! yah a little bit of mask work of whatever buildings are on the foreground.

  • @bompakk

how long did it take for u to make this? I have the Adobe master collection CS5, but i known nothing about it, i would love for you to teach me everything

  • @jayk10304 look for andrew kramer and check out his tutes

  • That shit is hard is fuck and even made me buy the adolby effect thanks for posting that video you got skills. GT

  • that was really good.

  • too much shaking.

  • Go apply for a special effects position in a movie production company.... This is pure win :D

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. like the shaky cam as well

  • How did you get that "Demon" or "Alien" inside the energy ball??

And if it's a picture where did you get it??

  • @skotn

really can't remember sorry. some have said it looks like Dahaka from Prince of Persia. So they might be right. I just took a cool looking pic from somewhere and placed it in my comp just to have it there really

  • @skotn layers. put him above the twisting particles, and below the "bubble" particles. :P

  • that looks awesome, im still working on mine lol

  • Dahaka :D

  • Well-it looks nice-good work. But still its a mix of Video copilot tutorials. Not very distant as well. Try to be more inventive next time and dont be a copycat.

  • @vobos

? its stated on my video that its based on AK's tute dood. Not being a copycat, what i'm really doing is appreciating AK's work and putting a little spin on it.

  • Very nicely done, music fit perfectly, but ya only thing is a little overdone on the shaking.

  • great job... keep it up. keep going.

  • where did u get this video's sound?

  • Nice work man, I agree wit Larry, reduce the camera shake, but otherwise nice, wicked use of lightning, most people overdo that :) Try adding your own flavor to the videocopiolot, change it up a bit and will look legit

  • Awesome! Here comes the Dahaka >:D

  • Wow! This was great!

  • nice, the shaking is too much but it looks nice good job.

  • what is the song?

  • Is that figure in there the dahaka from prince of persia?

  • ugh i got AE also but i can compare to this =/

  • Very fine, but I really think you overdid the shaky cam. Bring it down 50%.... less is more... then add sound. But the show on the street was Excellent!

  • point taken :)

  • this is a really great video the compositing is perfect 5 stars

  • not this,is something i call AWESOME =) , i mean, looks real m8,! @_@ once again AWESOME, great job, EPIC video! it would take me couple of years to make something near to that =(

  • tutorial?

  • holy shit it looks real

  • can some one make me an intro for a reward pm me for details

  • with enough sound effects this thing could spawn a movie

  • Holy shit,

You took Andrew Cramers Tutorial to another level!!! :D Amazing

  • These effects would be very useful and appreciated in the world that is Mugen.

  • How do you get the effect behind the buildings?

  • by duplicating the city layer, and then masking the parts that I want to overlap which are mostly the foreground elements. Use the pen tool to mask it out. Hope that helps

  • K thanks, (Nice video ;))

  • how did u get a good sound track for the twister part. What the track called?

  • Theres a tut for this on Video Copilot

  • very very good, simple question.. how do you get the camera shake ?

  • after i'm happy with what i've done and call the comp say, comp A. I make a new comp, called comp B and dropped comp A into it. Click on comp A, press P for position, Alt-click on the 'position' time watch to open up the expression dialog. Type wiggle(0.2,100) in the box on the timeline. (You can change the numbers in the expression to get the right feel). After that, apply motion tile to comp A and mirror it and voila!

  • that really is incredible man, i really dig it, Im very much into film and video editing, although i love the effects its never been my forte, I also work with bands, If you go on youtube and type in "ravenface - Isolation" you'll see an example of some of my work, Would you be interested in possibly working on their next music video on some of the effects ? the band are pretty well known, you and your work would be heavily promoted. Interested ? it would be great to have you on board

  • I like it behind the buildings...

    It looks really powerful.

  • nice look at mine is HD comment and rate plz

    SUSCRIBE

  • i want to know how adrew kramar learnt all this

  • the guy's a genius!

  • nice :) some lessons from Andrew Kramer and some yourself imagination :P

  • lol hvor er det awesome!! :D

  • The debris flying around looks nice, are they particle effects or 3D rendered?

  • particle effects from AE's own particle system

  • i jizzed

  • that.... was.... epic!!!! Ö.Ö!!
