Bill Challis arranged AND conducted this one (Whiteman, for some reason, couldn't appear at this recording session, so Challis filled in for him), and one of my personal favorites. Bix scores again, as does Tram. Incidentally, the song was originally written as "Nobody's Fault But Mine"- but once Al Jolson "cut himself" into a piece of it (and a writing credit), he insisted that Billy Rose and Dave Dreyer write new lyrics, guaranteeing the song would be a hit when he "plugged" it...and it was.
