私の場合は狙って行きました。

残念ながら、確率大と思った初日には見れませんでしたが、狙って­いた3日間の中日で撮影することができました。私の場合、スカイ­スポーツをしていたので、蜃気楼が出る条件である逆転層の予測が­ある程度はできるのです。初日は、風の強さを予測賜間違えました­。

2日目で撮影でき、ラッキーでした。

ガイドの人の話では、海そのものがすでに蜃気楼なのです。

因みに富山市側は、ナイヤガラの滝の様な蜃気楼が出ていました。

こちらは、邪魔者が多くてうまく撮影できませんでした。

no this is about mirage. The island over to the horizon is not really but a reflection of light... Oh not reflection, forgot the scientific words for it. But ya this is a rare phenomena that you do NOT see everyday everywhere. Ok.

EPsuper, I believe the scientific (physics, lol) term for bending of light due to differing speeds is Refraction, just so you know.

No, actually you are looking at a mirage. Can you see the buildings up above the lighthouse? They don't exist there. It's a mirage.
