  • Hey mate, how do you open the new tail to get to the oil and coolant resoviors?

Did you buy your fairings from tyga and how is the new tyga pipe compared to the old one? Thankyou

  • @p4tr1ckn4v0 hi mate. we used the original mechanism for the seat latch and just cut a slot into the tail so can just lift it up with the ignition key.

bought the tail from tyga but got all the fairings from a contact in Thailand. I can forward the details to your email. The tyga pipe really gives top end power (power band at 6500rpm), similar to the rs125. Original pipe feels like more acceleration and power band kicks in at 5000rpm from memory. so really depends what yur after

  • @watchinrequired

Thanks alot, dont want to be annoying but can you make a video to record the sound of the new pipe, and to look at the seat latch.

  • @p4tr1ckn4v0 sorry mate i sold the bike a long time ago. i can tell you it was louder with the pipe and muffler

  • nsr is one of thailand's street racing bike legend !!!

  • BIKE FOR SALE

  • Nice job, well done & good photos. I have a 2002 Australian model with a few mods including Tyga pipe, step kit, carbon reeds, modded air box, inlet, ports, power valve, rejetted carb and rebuilt gearbox & clutch. Also have restored fairing and forks after smash. I haven't got the decals yet. I got all the parts through Mick Gavenlock in Thailand. About the 1/3 of the cost of my local Honda dealer.

  • what exhaust pipe is that?

  • @Ardarel Thats a Tyga pipe. See the range of pipes online at Tyga Performance. The exhaust system comes in 2 parts, the expansion chamber and the muffler. The system comes as either steel or stainless with either aluminium or carbon fibre muffler. The system, with appropriate intake and filter mods produces about 4 hp more than standard with a lot more urge 6,000 - 11,000 rpm. It is much lighter than the stock exhaust as well. Other mods are step kit (raised footpegs), reeds, carb & ignition.
