I'm sorry but this is not hunting, its cheating, you feed the deer all year round, they become domesticated kind of, and you just shoot them from a convenient cover, no hunting means to HUNT, to trek, to follow, to figure your position upwind or downwind, to make deer calls, use deer scent, anything but shooting them next to grain feeders...please, thats just Texas hunting.
@yusafzai08 You have no idea what you're talking about. These deer are by no means domesticated, if you slip up these deer will be out of sight and onto the next property. Second of all its not like we put up a feeder then put a stand next to it and expect deer to just show up. We scout first, find natural travel routes and crossings and set up accordingly. Also wind directions, deer calls and scents still come into play; a little bit of corn doesn't turn a deer into a pet.
i tell ya man im not gonna dis your deer, but you gotta go to kansas we got some monster whitetails, yesterday i was out scoutin and seen a nice 12 point
I don't know that I would say Kansas is better than Texas, but different. Hands down ya'll beat us in body size but Texas produces its fair share of big racked deer. Don't get me wrong I'd love to hunt in Kansas.
same exact 30-06 as me hahaha
