I haven't watched this bit in some twenty years plus, and I have to say, they built up the tension pretty well. Much of the credit of the bit is, of course, Bobby Heenan's, however the pure glee in Vince's voice when he asks "Have you ever been fired before????" was pretty great.

I've always been confused about when exactly Heenan became Orndorff's manager prior to this. When Orndorff came into the WWF in '84, Piper was his manager and I thought he had been right up to Wrestlemania. Then afterwards, Heenan was his manager?
