raising taxes is exactly the wrong solution to an ailing economy! We've got to get spending under control. Reduce government waste and size. Reduce the amount of money our government spends and increase the money in the private sector. In times when the financial burdens are greater and greater on families and individuals, is that the time to tax them more? That wouldn't make any sense. Most people feel they are taxed out. We need to refocus on whats really necessary in our budget!
so if no one wants to raise taxes, how will we pay this 11 trillion dollar debt? is America going to just run that bill up till they have to file bankruptcy? How many people get out of debt by constantly spending and not paying back what they borrowed?
