All these guys were on the old SNES game Nobunaga's Ambition. Kanbei and Hanbei were two of the best generals in the game, except Hanbei dies when he's like 34

seriously, take away any knowledge of the people outside of the game, and if they never referenced the person as "he" or "him" etc...
