  • Judge: "Uhm, Michael... that's nice, but you still have to take the test if you want citizenship..."

  • It`s as camp as christmas but you gotta love it.

  • the opening is the tap routine from lord of the dance, then celtic tiger then a bit of celtic dream. Love Michael

  • futurepresident777...That because that's what George M. Cohen wrote it for!

  • I think George M. Cohen would be very proud!

  • That might of something to do with the fact he was born in Chicago 11luvgreen!

  • WWOOWW!! Way ta go Ireland!!! A strong support to America!! Keep it up big time. America and Ireland go together perfectly.

  • Only Michael Flatley has the talent to turn Yankee Doodle into a tap dancing song! Mike, you rock!

  • juggler 2811 I thought that WAS the Hawthorn Football Club... Sorry my mistake.

The Hawks have turned prancing around into an art form.

Excruciating to watch but I just can't help myself.

Suffice to say. Someone, somewhere is turning in their grave.

  • @TCopy2111 Yankee Doodle Dandy is an American song written by George M. Cohan. You can find the movie in a video. It starred James Cagney, also a great dancer!

  • god awful

    what has he created

  • Im with Flatly for his reasons for leaving River dance , but the shows did get progressively more tasteless after that , I find this an abomination.

  • 'Lord of The Dance' is horrififc - it couldn't be further removed from Irish dancing! Nothing can beat 'Riverdance'.

  • Um this is Celtic Tiger

  • @TLKResource This show was about the Irish and how they came to America. Plus. Flately is half American.

  • @Dreamflower6 I know what this show is about and that Flatley is an Irish American I was just pointing out the name.

  • @Dreamflower6 Flatley is 100% american. He was born in America to Irish parents. He's Irish american.

  • i woud have to disagree with you... i love them both.

  • If its not Irish Show Dance then wot the hell is it?!... neither are horrific, no wher near...why say that?!

  • @emeraldpixie And you can thank Michael for that. :P

  • While I was watching Flatley dance, I suddenly flashed on James Cagney!

    Very good!

  • what is this song?

  • yankee doodle dandy.....

  • In Australia that song is the theme song to the Hawthorn Football Club The Hawks. The lyrics are different of course. It begins with "We're happy team at Hawthorn, We're the mighty fighting Hawks." No mention of "doodles" (that's a willy here) or "dandies" ( a dandy is someone who is gay). If you pranced around to it here you'd be flattened like a pancake.
