um.....what are you talking about? The new icons came out in 2006....the black LDL wasn't replaced by the blue LDL until June 2nd, 2008...so these icons appeared with the black bar for about 2 years O_o

And speaking of TWC looks like NBC Universal is the leading bidder along with Time Warner and whoever wins the bid i just hope they don't change a thing and keep playing the music along with the other features on the network.
I remember this early 90s voice over. The reason it didn't work is that it pre-empted only each segment of the forecast(radar, regional conditions, etc.). The modern voice over narrates the entire forecast, so you can stay in the kitchen with the TV at 120dB and not miss the forecast! ;)

I am surprised to hear that it was the default song in the IntelliStar, makes sense as it was played on our cable company for over a half a year!

Mega, you know this song was NOT made for a IntelliStar. It was the setting when TWC was using the WeatherStar 4000.

But the 36 hr. forecast comes from TWC not NWS. And the radar tracks movement from the past 3 hrs. not 90 min.
