From what I understand Brooke actually has more Irish in her than anything else.. I read somewhere that she has Irish roots from her mother and father.. But it`s funny that she never even mentioned that.. She`s just trying to make it seem like she`s so exotic.. I guess she didn`t want to talk about her Irish grandfather growing potatoes in Ireland

@Goldenchild795 Lisa Kudrow said they can only show the information that they have found and they have records on it. There are many celebrities that want to be on the show, but she said more than often they cannot find enough records or any records to make a complete show. In Brooke Shields case her aristocratic family are well documented.

@Goldenchild795 I understand your frustration, but, the oldest available Irish census dates only from 1901, and also, during the occupation of the Four Courts in Dublin in 1922, one thousand years of state and religious records were destroyed in a massive explosion, it makes it very hard then for people trying to explore their roots.

A lot of the UK celebrity stories on the British version of this series are also truly amazing. Brooke's father's side is truly amazing.
