All I can tell you is i've ran several hondas, all with bolt ons, in a 2002 GT with heads, cams, MAF, CAI, headers, exhaust, no cats, 3:73 gear, built 4r70w auto with stall and a tune. Ran a 13.9 with a 2.1 60' (spun 1st through 3rd). Nothing special right? Right. Have ran 2 k20's with ported heads/intake, exhaust, some kind of tune, dunno what kind they just claimed it. The other 3 just had exhaust and lord knows what...... So I am finding that logic very skewed.Got it?

@dstappity If you notice, the cobras tach is up around 4500-5000rpms and if you turn the volume up you can hear the blower whine as soon as the civic starts pulling away. The civic was just so loud it drowned out the sound of the supercharger. Theres a handful of other videos on here of the same thing happening.

All I can tell you is i've ran several hondas, all with bolt ons, in a 2002 GT with heads, cams, MAF, CAI, headers, exhaust, no cats, 3:73 gear, built 4r70w auto with stall and a tune. Ran a 13.9 with a 2.1 60' (spun 1st through 3rd). Nothing special right? Right. Have ran 2 k20's with ported heads/intake, exhaust, some kind of tune, dunno what kind they just claimed it. The other 3 just had exhaust and lord knows what...... So I am finding that logic very skewed.Got it?

@smallfry0764 you ran 13.9 with all that done to your GT? an 02 GT should atleast be a 14.1 sec car bone stock if you can drive. a mere bolt on k20 swapped civic can run low 13's. i see it VERY often at the track, and theres videos on youtube. one being a bolt on k20a2 99 Si, full interior, and 210whp, running 12.9. another being a hatch with a bolt-on k20a2 running 12.8 with full interior. a couple of my friends in their 99-00 Si running high 12's in their bolt on tuned k20's making 220-230whp

The motor isn't rebuilt, and they come with forged internals. You're probably not used to that in the import world. Suspension parts? What suspension parts? And for the record a cobra with the list you just prescribed would run 10's. No, your honda isn't doing that with a built K20 and mild turbo.

The Mustang did try, just look at the tach, its hovering around 5-6K RPM almost close to red line.
V-8 rules, the love the sound and it comes with pure charisma. This civic engine sounds like Sarah Palin really pissed off. This is like a go kart vs a car, nothing really impressive, seriously. At least the Civic didn't have offensive ugly color in it.

I've experienced it myslef. As far as looking quick. I use to have a quick 0-120mph video, and people thought I was doing 60. Videos don't do the actual thing any justice kid. Get a life. I heard the supercharger fine at mid volume and I have to hear gunshots all the time from work, which I think messed up my ears

@dstappity If you notice, the cobras tach is up around 4500-5000rpms and if you turn the volume up you can hear the blower whine as soon as the civic starts pulling away. The civic was just so loud it drowned out the sound of the supercharger. Theres a handful of other videos on here of the same thing happening.

@phishintube Negative.Its called turbo lag. The car would hit vtec and full boost at the same time..... It made 460whp on 18psi on pump gas

I am a die hard civic fan been one for well over twenty years I own a 91EF and a 99EK but come on that "cobra" didn't accelerate at all. Besides we all really need to stop comparing apples to oranges V8's and 4 cylinders are two completely different monsters. We both have our advantages and disadvantages.

That is a Fobra!! If that's was a real cobra that is the saddest performance I have seen from a Cobra of any year! You can't even hear the motor. And in a Cobra even with no exhaust the motor is pretty loud and beefy!!
