You may want to work on traditional one stick movements some more to allow you better control. This way you can bring it to the next level easier the cord or chain should never bend inward. They should always stay extended by centrifugal force. This allows you much greater control and will allow you to do many more fun movements.

I bought some a while back and have practiced on my own with no training, but I'm no where near as good as you. But do you train for workout, dance, hobby, or self-defense? I've always wondered how one could fight with nunchuku. Bruce Lee made it look awesome, but I don't know.
