Good work man, I remember myself looking like that, until P90x came, now I'm still doing P90x and now I will be doing insainty as well,, one I will be doing P90x and the next day I will be doing insainty.
p90x is technically a more advanced level of the p90 program. If you have zero fitness level starting out p90x may be too rough for you, but that's up to you.
There is a p90 workout for beginners, then a p90 masters for intermediat. I have all 3 and am starting the p90 Monday. I tried the p90x and it was WAY to intense for me. I to quit after 20-30 min. You might try one of the others if it is too intense.
@chinquita1 i think it depends, i only use 10 pounds for weights, and i cant do a perfect push up, its my first week but when it came to other like polymetrics, i went on hard, in my first week my body was sour, i didnt even bother doin the yoga x, i did 20 mins, went out for a jog for 4 miles, thts the only one i quit at, should i keep doin p90x, or go for 10 min trainer, or p90, i want a sweet body like p90x gives
@daveysmalls Sure, let's start with the basics around what your goal is as that is a good place to start. Are you looking to slim down or trying to get big?
is it normal to quit the workout early if your exhausted? the first day i had to quit with 30 minutes left in the workout, the second day(which was yesterday) i had to quit with 20 minutes left in the workout.(all of this means i must be really out of shape lol)
im trying to work myself into the workouts, so it wont be as painful and exhausting lol.
@matttharipper Get through the first week is my advice and just keep pushing. I am on day about day 50. I have had a chest cold for the last week or so and had to cut a few workouts short as I had no energy, it happens. The pain went away for me after the first or second week then the body was used to it. My legs still kill after the legs and Kenpo.
@matttharipper First off, don't quit! It's mean to be tough and push you, bud do not feel bad or stop if you can't make it all the through. Do what you can, and MODIFY when you need to, there are usual many ways to do one so do what works for you. Eventually, you will get to a point where you feel like you can do them more. It's always super tough at the beggining. It will pay off, stay the course and reach out to me if you need help or have more questions.
@SuperR1991 Protein shakes twice a day (Ispoure Zero Carb Protein, 1 Cup of Frozen Fruit, 1 Cup Skim Milk, 2 tablespoons of flax seeds). Once in the mid morning and another right before bed. That's about it. Nutrition is key, I eat now about 2700 cals a day. (6 meals a day, roughly 450 cals each). Veggies, Fruit, Lean Meat, Nuts, whole grains, black beans, oats, skim milk, natural peanut butter, sausage, tureky, cottage cheese, etc...hopefully this helps you get an idea
damnnnnn :-O thankss mann I rly appreciate telling me that!!!!!!!! luck me I just finished one month so for the rest of the months I will lstart working 6 times per week considering ur advice anw 10x againn
@gbarbouth thanks alot man, im very new to it, and i hate vegatables, i dont mind cucumbers/cabbage and so fourth, and yeah ill watch video's on how to do the different parts of the abs and also jog everyday and continue with situps.
thanks for your help! ill also drink alot of water and eat fruit!
@NormallyFit Thanks, I appreciate it! I see you are also in the middle of your P90X journey as well. You're doing great! Keep working hard and pushing play. Thanks again, and feel free to ask me questions if you have any.
@bennyeliuth20 Thanks Benny! I shoot for about 2,000 Calories/day. Particularly when doing P90X as I find that I am almost always hungry just from the sheer demand of the workouts so I eat close to 6 times a day, smaller meals but making sure I'm sure full. I do have a large amount of protein in the diet, I incorporate carbs and healthy fats as well in my daily diet but that is earlier in the day/afternoon. Make sure to try and stick to lean protein foods at night. Hope this helps, BRING IT!
Thanks!! yeah Im trying to stick to 1800 to 2100 calories with the 50/30/20 Fat shredder ratios. the book says i should be eating about 2400 but i just find it kinda hard to get all the way up there. I use Natural peanut butter to get the calories up!!
good stuff mate, you look alot younger now too :)
