Yeah, the siren is actually from 1967, off of our old Engine 1. We replaced it with another old truck, a 1972 Ford-Hahn from a neighboring town. We decided the siren should be a new tradition. Our northern neighbor, Brattleboro, has a bell on their Ladder 1 that was on the first ladder apparatus in 1839.
I used to live in Putney (RIP General Store :( ). Good to see the tri-state region's apparatus.
