hi Bri thanks for the quick response. I wasn't referring to the safety restraints but on this type of ride there is usually a lever that stops the car from remaining upright, so you can press it on and off to make the car go upside down or start to swing (it is basically a brake) the presentation on this ride is really commendable - very original and perfectly themed.
are the riders able to lock the cars? (if so where is the lever) also, what is the general view on these outward facing cars? do they attract more riders than the standard rock-o-plane cages?
@SpecialMake I assume the cars are locked by the attendants before the ride starts, as for the ride itself I honestly have no idea, maybe others that are better informed and will let us know. Cheers for the comment! Bri
Hey mate, its owned by William Thurston, mannings did it up for thurstons and opened it under the manning banner at hyde park, class video i got a video of alberts waltzer from the dancer :)
@wa1tz3r I have just been informed to ssay it like this, its presented under the mannings organisation banner. its minded by William thurston. it was revamped by William Thurston Jnr for Mannings. (cheers to martin for the info)
cheers m8, I read the Worlds Fair for info as to whose machine it is, it said it was revamped by Joseph Manning Jnr. and didn't mention Thurston's at all. Not being my neck of the woods, I'm happy to defer to people who are better informed, namely your good self, and thanks again, all the best, Bri
