There's no dark sense of humour in this. It's just full of light. Pure Radiance.The amputtee is preparing for a wheelchair race when LeAnn sings 'go the distance'. He's showing guts and determination as you can see from expression on his face. I think its fantastic that she uses an image like this on a pop video. Her mistake destroyed the lives of two people, and left children having to deal with being abandoned. Her attitude all along seems to have been "Well, some people got hurt but at least I got what I wanted." That sort of attitude, and the fact that I've never heard one word out of her mouth about the affair that rang anywhere near true, shows that the woman has no class.

I must admit - I don't get the Tanya Tucker comparison. I'd never heard of her (shame on me as a Brit)  - so I've just checked her out (entire repertoire on YouTube) including when she was 15 - almost same age as LeAnn here - and cant see any resemblance to LeAnn atall (apart from 'Country' connection). If you revisit most singers performances at 14 it's a bit of an embarassment. Not with LeAnn. She couldn't sing it better now. And nobody else can touch her either

who am I to condemn? Someone who used to think a girl was worthy of trust and found out she wasn't. I'm one who tried to be like the guy in the song & found out that sometimes some girls pretend to be good and honest people and they aren't. I hear a song like this sung by someone pretending to be a woman worthy of respect who turned out not to be, and I resent it.
